If the Tomcats can move the ball and stay away from costly turnovers I see them winning.
Cant wait to get the season started.

Ouch!!! Now that has to be a real ego bruiser for TC Pride and NotsoBADCAT. You'll for sure not get a Christmas Card from your buddies this year for that prediction, FBALL.

Any team from Eastern Kentucky always has a hard time winning against Northern Kentucky schools and this will be no different but the Tomcats may keep it close. NCC 27 Ashland 19.

If NCC I anything like they were when I played against them at Raceland then it will be a tough game and Ashland will need to play very well to win. Based on what I have seen from Ashland the past few years they have the talent to win but Ashland is a team that gets better as the season progresses. This week I give NCC a two touchdown advantage but if it were later in the season I would pick Ashland.

35-21 NCC gonna take some growing pains this year atleast the first few weeks. That being said. Go cats

NCC will struggle at the beginning of this year until the put things together for the stretch run into the playoffs. I do see them winning this game handily but not winning another game until September 27th. Then they will likely not lose again until the State Semi's.

Gotta say I am kinda disappointed by the lack of ashland supporters this year. So were probably not a top 5 team this year. What happened to school loyalty. It seems myself and Tomcat pride are the only ones posting on here anymore.

Yep, it appears that our friend and buddy NotsoBADCAT has "left the building".:Sad04:

That's a misconception. I would say that every team from anywhere in Kentucky has trouble against Cov Cath and Highlands but Ashland, Johnson Central, Belfry and Russell have faired pretty well against the rest of the Northern Kentucky region. As mentoined in another thread Ashland destroyed a Holmes team last year that beat NCC earlier in the year.

Ashland will be inexperienced. They are athletic but need game reps. The group appears to be focused and hard working, traits that I believe come from the new coach. I look for this season to potentially have a rocky start but a solid finish. If they can limit mental mistakes early they can avoid a rocky start.

But still we all wonder in anticipation, where oh where are those mighty boasts from NotsoBADCAT this year?
I guess since he finally got that coveted job as music critic/enforcer at the KHSAA, that he just plain and simply does not have the time to tout this group as the likes that no one has ever seen before.

Pretty tough on that guy aren't you? Nothing wrong with being a homer for your high school team. This sight is full of em. He just happens to wear his support on his sleeve a little more than some. I thought the topic was the Ashalnd / Newport game not an Amber alert for Badcat74.

Nope that is where you are wrong. NotsoBADCAT is the face of the storied Ashland Tomcat football program.......One might say....... "A Legend".

Ok perception is the key. However I believe that I am correct in naming the topic of this thread. What do you know about NCC?
08-21-2013, 09:47 AM
I will leave you with this: Badcat74 has "The Fire Inside" for Tomcat football and their Friday "Night Moves" what I think we should do about it is "Turn The Page"
Good luck to your team this season Mr. Seger.

Oh, make no mistake, "perceptions" abound when the name of the mighty one are uttered....
