What is the deal with these guys? What was the Spurlock/Beverly situation all about? And what about Justin Johnson??? Who will be the next coach? Al Holland???

Jalen Cooper already said in his bluegrass sports report website that Shannon Hoskins was in as Perry Central head coach. Yes he's a kid from PCC and I understand that but like Zaga said not too long ago in another thread, Jalen, broke news about Jaysean Paige, Spurlock and Justin Johnson.
As for Justin Johnson, he will be at Perry Central, he ain't going no where

You are a little late. lol
Shannon has been hired as the head coach, Denny Fugate is his only assistant at the moment. Braxton and Justin will both be at Perry this year, and hopefully Braxton for years to come.
Spurlock, who was already disliked by many of the parents/supporters because he didn't know how to coach this team, said some of the wrong things about the wrong people. Now he his gone, but it was the right move by the Perry County Administration.

Hoskins is from Perry County, but he played at Clay County.

The job is posted on the KHSAA web site which I believe all schools have to do for 30 days, but for now Hoskins will be coach and Fugate will be the assistant.

Is Mullins not on the PCC staff any longer? I know he interviewed for several jobs in Central Kentucky. Isn't he related to Beverly?

I heard Braxton took a couple of Spurlocks Oreo cookies from his desk without asking and Spurlock got real upset with Braxton for that.

Why would anyone hire him!! Look at all the schools he has coached at. He must be a nut case!!!!!

He has coached at some of the mountain's best basketball programs. He must be able to convince people of something. i personally don't care much for him.

He had his best opportunity at Clay County to actually do something and never could get it done. Spending time to get to know him, he is a nice guy when he wants to be but as far as basketball goes, players hate him. If he can't get it done at Clay County or Perry Central, there's no hope for the man.

He got in done at Hazard, his 4 years at hazard I believe there's only 2 or 3 players that dislike him (mostly bc of their daddy's)...

I'll give you Hazard, didn't he win an All-A? After that though, down hill.

It's not as easy to win as some of you may think. Y'all should try
coaching some time. AT ANY LEVEL.

A lot easier to win with thoroughbreds than donkeys.
