^ I personally think Fairview is going to be WAY down compared to last season. They lost their FB and both running backs.

Don't see them going away though may not be 14 1 but don't see them just going bye bye. Too good of coach and program. Still see them 1 of 5 that can make it to bowling green ( Pikeville, Raceland, Williamsburg, hazard)

Dont under estimate Fairview if i were you . Fairview has quite a bit returning people seem to overlook they were Sophmore dominated last yr . I know the 3 backs are gone , but Fairview has about 5 nice underclassmen to fill those spots . Including an unbelievable incoming fresman who.is super talented & has been clocked running a 4:6 40 , plus a hard running Sophmore whogot a lot of 1st string snaps last yr who also as a Freshman was a starting LB , then they also got 2 others who will be Jrs who.started on D last yr who each had 3 1st string starts & several 1st string snaps on O . Then there is another very. Speedy Jr who showed a lot of promise last yr with a few 1st string snaps including a TD run against Hazard 1st string D in the playoffs. Not saying Fairview will be what they were last yr but still very good , & def not a team to overlook

B.S. You and I both know what will happen. Your coaching staff will have the Bulldogs looking at a scoreboard every practice that reads the score from this past seasons game and they will order shirts that say beat Fairview. They will torment the boys to the point that they are ready to rip the Eagles players heads off on every play. Then when the day arrives, they will avenge the loss. You can tell me something nice and try to divert my attention away from that but, we know all to well what will happen. It will be a long season for the Eagles.

Keep believing and saying that I'm sure Fairview loves the haters. Like I said hazard probably better than them but have great coach and program don't see them going away like you.

You may be right or you may wrong just don't see why you think they just going away

As one of the very top generals for the Japanese army said after they attacked Pearl Harbor, "we have awakened a sleeping giant". You got the better of Hazard this year by a large margin. They will live that game in their minds, their practices and every aspect of their lives until such time as yall meet again. It won't happen this year.

:dontthink hazard want get that chance this year.thanks for the quote from mayfield kingdom japan about a sleeping gaint.WILLIAMSBURG will live that game last year with hazard in their minds,we will send a bus to hazard an pick them up. moke: oh bye the way hazard please advance to play williamsburg i'm pullig for hazard nation to make the trip.

Fairfield's young kids got a lot of practice and experience making the finals last year. I don't believe they will go away but Raceland will be a huge factor in their district as well as Pikeville in the region. I expect both those teams to be better this year. This region will be very competitive.

Hazard is well coached and always seem to have play makers. Harlan and pineville both lost a lot. I expect they will breeze through their district and their nondistrict schedule will make them a very tough out come playoff time.

What does. Williamsburg have to do with a regular season game between Fairview and Hazard?

I see it not sure if he has moved or not.. If so that should help hazard sum but last year late the offense seem to struggle.
06-26-2013, 10:57 PM
After talking to a few peeps and listening hazard will be pretty good but young and could be very dangerous playoff time... Defense should be the strong point from the linebackers to corners n safety's.. D-line should be solid but keeping everyone healthy will help tremendously...

I think Hazard may be better by the end of the season that they were last season. They had some quality freshmen that will be sophomores.

Defense was not Hazard's problem last year. The score board was no indication of what really happened in the Semi's last year. Defensively, the bulldogs made well enough adjustments to get back in the game. But offensively they didnt have any answer. They were suprised by Fairviews speed (cant see why), but they were. Fairviews defense saw that Hazard had no threat down field and stacked the box. Hazards offense was enemic. If they dont get some big play guys(which is the difference in small school fb), they will struggle keeping up with Pikeville and Raceland. Fairview is still a toss up in my book. Idk what they will bring to the table just yet. We shall see, but as for the bulldogs, big play capability will be the difference. Furthermore, Williamsburg has something to prove to me in regaurds to all the speed they r supposed to have, they couldnt get anything on the board against hazard, and fairview scored at will...

Hazard never really showed up.. The game was won in the trenches n fairview owned hazard there.. The loss of Austin Johnson killed the balance of hazards offense and pretty much there whole offense the rest of the reason.. Fairview was clearly the better team and there is no excuses for hazard to hang there head.. But a new season is upon us and what I hear about hazard is they have numerous guys who will play on the offensive side of the ball

I looked foward to that being a better game. Simply because Hazard shut down Williamsburg. I looked at it as being a defensive battle. I guess Williamsburg wasnt as fast and explosive as they thought or as advertised.
