Classing Softball
#1
With all the talk in the 15th region with one district having 5 teams and two distircts having only 3 teams each, how does everyone feel about having softball classed like football?

I would be for it!

Bad idea!!

I agree, it's a bad idea. Kentucky softball isn't that great as it is (compared to other states like TN and AL), no need to water it down.

Pros and Cons to both. I feel they need to make some kind of a change with the state tournament. 16 team, double elimination, in two days is to much. Need to space it out! As for classing it could be good to involve more teams, but I feel the misconception is it would give the little guy a chance. That's not so. Look at the schools that win it. Just a few thoughts. But if I would have a vote I would say class it. It wouldn't hurt to give it a shot!

I think it would be a good idea to have a class system for softball, volleyball, track, wrestling and baseball, but leave the basketball as it is. We have the best state tournament in the USA.
