The game of course is tomorrow with the girls game tipping off at 5:30 and the boys game scheduled to follow 20 minutes after. Tickets are good for both games and cost $12 at the gate at Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.

CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY – The 22nd annual Ohio-Kentucky All-Star Game got off to a rousing start Friday evening with its Slam Jam All-Star Night of Stars. The event features the top senior from both states and began with the girls 3-Point Shootout. The winning player from Ohio was Konner Harris, while Kentucky’s Larryn Brooks was crowned the overall champion with a final round score of 14. The boys 3-Point winner from Ohio was Austin McBee (Minford), while Kentucky was represented by Omar Prewitt from Montgomery County. McBee took the overall 3-point championship sinking the money-ball (worth 2-points) on the final ball rack.

The second event of the night 1-on-1 saw Tecumseh's Briana Quisenberry defeat Kayla McDowell (Mason) by a score of 9-5 for the Ohio Championship. The Kentucky winner was Kentucky’s Miss Basketball Makayla Epps (Marion County) who defeated Serena Sandusky from Lexington Bryan Station by a score of 14-8. Epps, the McDonalds All-American was the overall champion winning on a last-second shot. The boys Kentucky champion was Logan O’Brian (Daviess County) defeating Demitrius McReynolds (Louisville Butler). Ironton’s Zac Carter took the boys title for Ohio winning by a one-point margin. Carter also took the overall championship with a 12-10 win over O’Brian.

In the 3-on-3 championship the Kentucky Girls team of Larryn Brooks (Madison Central), Leah Schaeffer (Fort Thomas Highlands), and Makayla Epps (Marion County) defeated team Ohio made up of Alexis Henning (Centerville), Megan Galloway (Greenville), and Trischa Lacy (Urbana). For the boys 3-on-3 championship Team Ohio made up of Ironton’s Zac Carter, and the Walnut Hills duo of DJ Wingfield and Isaiah Johnson defeated Kentucky’s Rusty Troutman (Bullitt East), Demetrius McReynolds (Louisville Butler) and Tyler Jones (Montgomery County).

The night was capped off with high-flying exploits of the top dunkers from both the Bluegrass and Buckeye State's. After 6 initial dunkers in the contest the final two athletes were Kentucky's Ray Kasongo (Pikeville) and Ohio's Josh Davenport (Cincinnati Moeller). Kasonga walked away with the title with final score of 49-47.
