Tyler Allen Pitched for Clay. South pitched Zach Allen, Trey Martin and Matthew Slavey. Great game by both teams.

Allen went the distance for Clay? Wow.. I've always thought he had the most potential of any player/pitcher for Clay. Big win early in the season for the Tigers. Wouldn't be shocking to see these two battling it out come region time.

After Clay killed Corbin, it looks like Clay is definitely one of the front runners.

Clay will contend and could possibly be the favorite come region time. As a Clay fan, I still say South has a little more talent and overall depth. Clay has the hardest working and in my opinion one of the state's best coaches in Jason Smith. Keep it up boys!

I didn't get to see the game, but I would be willing to bet that Clay pitched a kid with a pretty good curveball. If the coaching staff at SL (or parents) don't get most of these kids some help on how to hit the curve, they are finished right now.
