At 20-12 Tubby's Gopher's are in the big dance. While Cal and the Wildcat's are in the best of the worst tournament.

Good for Tubby. We won a National Title with a great chance of another in 2014, i'm honestly fine with being in the NIT, it's where this team belongs anyways.

Lol. Im happier here than with tubby.

I am too, this year sucks by UK standards but I think better times are just on the horizon.

All Hail Tubby!!!!!!!

I am glad the Gophers made it in but they almost didn't.
I will say though that if Tubby was still here we wouldn't be going to the NIT this year. You can say whatever you want about next year, but there is no guarantees that next year will be any better with a group of new players again.

Tubby is in but Minn, along with Ky. and N.C. State were the biggest disappointments in the regular season this year.

How was Minnesota a disappointment? They where not expected to win the Big 10 or anything.
I'm unsure on N.C. State, but yes KY was a huge disappointment. Pre season #3 behind Louisville and Indiana. Final 4 talk and so on.

Add the ones we have signed, plus Randle, with Archie and Kyle back, I'd venture to say Cal will get his 40-0 team.

40-0 was NEVER talked about this past year, from anyone with a half brain. Only thing was talked about, if the team jelled, possible final 4 with another banner as a bonus.
Goodwin
Wiltjer
Harrison
Harrison
Young
Lee
Johnson
Randle
Wiggins
Willis
That's our roster next year as I see it. That's our 40-0 team.

There is NO CHANCE Goodwin comes back. He didn't want to be here this year, much less come back for another year!

Not what I'm hearing, and I've got pretty good sources. But if that's what you wanna believe, is your choice. Archie did in fact wanna be here, he was the only one, beside Noel, that actually tried n showed heart. He over tried a lot. But that was due to nobody else trying, and being in the right spot when he drove, after he got inside he had nobody to kick back out to. Due to no one was in position to receive a pass. Now Alex, he didn't want to be here.

I don't want Goodwin back.
Regardless, this years team should not be playing in the NIT. Just by talent alone they should have gotten an NCAA bid, no excuse to be this bad.

excuse is they just did not jell. plus no upper leadership. what killed us the most was no true 3 man. had we gotten shabazz, this would have been a completely different team. it happens, take all the talent in the world, if they don't like playing together, they will suck. I think with the right cast, Archie will show everyone what he's capable of, and we will see that next year.

Let's hope Cal re-introduces dodgeball into the weekly regimen...I think they beat Florida after the last dodgeball practice...it's your fault Cal, you didn't id the dodgeball connection with this freshmen class.
They may have won 28 games if the dodgeball curriculum had been administered earlier in the season.

I seriously doubt we get Wiggins and Randle. I would like for us too of course, but I highly doubt that happens lol.

Agree, anyone that had a half brain knew better. But I'll go on a limb for next years team,, 40-0 or at worse, 39-1.. If get beat, will be Michigan St., they should have their whole roster back minus 1, and depends on if any go pro.

Ive thought about this scenario a 100 times in my head.
For one, early on, reports showed Wiggins as a near lock, until he openly asked for other schools to recruit him, and then it didnt look so sure, but hes never stopped saying that UK is one of his tope two choices.
As for Randle, I never though we had a shot. Then, out of nowhere it appears were the front runner.
If both sign, they can forever forget about the "fab 5" because this team will blow the lid off that one. You will have five freshmen starting and all five will be better than anything ever assembled. I hope and pray for a 40-0 season, but once again, they'll be five frosh, so it wont happen, but it will still be a magical year.
Now, for the real thought process.
Everyone can forget Goodwin, WCS, and Noel coming back, with Poythress a toss up.
Now, lets look at the roster that "could" be returning.
Harrow (if he doesnt wimp out again)
Wiltjer (fluffy mcsoft pants)
Poythress (toss up)
Polson
Hood
Malone
Lanter
Long
Thats eight returning players, seven of which are locks.
Now, incoming we have
Harrison
Harrison
Johnson
Lee
Young
Willis
Wiggins (maybe)
Randle (maybe)
Thats 16 players for 13 spots.
Even if we dont sign Wiggins and Randle, somebody has to get cut, but if they both do, three players have to go.
Bye bye malone, lanter, and long.

Opinions are like a****les,, everyone has one, some are bigger than others. I'll take my sources all day long 7 days a week. When they directly talk to the coaching staff at UK, I'd say they know a little about recruiting.
