The error bug bit the Tigers again. Had a 3-1 lead in the 4th. Lack of pitching depth and injuries are hurting the Tigers right now also. The Tigers lost CF Al Vanhoose last night against Belfry, with a knee injury. Won't know the extent til later in the week.

âRelax, all right? Donât try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, theyâre fascist. Throw some ground balls â itâs more democratic.â

Bath was able to take advantage of Paintsville errors as they scored 7 runs on 7 hits while committing no errors. Bath's relief pitcher threw 3 shutout innings. Great venue for a game.

I had Bath with 6 hits. Hard to give a kid a hit when the Left fielder lets a routine fly ball fall right beside his feet and him under it.

Who was the starting pitcher for the Tigers? Looked like a decent day at the plate for the Tigers but unfortunately the error machine continues and thanks for the stats link Hook

^Kash Daniel. Threw the ball great. Well enough for a win. He threw 20 pitches the night before. So with it being so early in the season Coach shut him down early. Already got enough injuries. Don't need any more.
They let the kid from Bath go over 90 pitches. Crazy this early in the season.

^Bub, your guess is as good as mine.
Starting pitcher wise all we have healthy are: Taylor Miller, Matt Miller, Kash Daniel.
Others that will be used are: Spencer taylor, Ryan Murray, Brooks Pelphrey, Tommy McCormick and Gabe Burchell.
Still on the mend are: Colby Burchett, Lane Daniels and Luke Daniels.
Almost ALL will see limited time, pitch counts, while it is early in the season.
Healthy arms towards the end of the season, are the most important thing to us right now.

Just going off what the scoreboard operator put up. You can't question the run total though.

^I know. I watched him give a hit to a kid that day on a ball hit directly at the SS. It doesn't do ANY of these kids any favors.
Was a GREAT day for baseball though! Great experience for these boys!

You are correct. Seems like we are seeing more of the "rewarding" thing just so we don't "hurt" their feelings. I don't understand the logic. I hope the kid (centerfielder) that hurt his knee against Breathitt gets well soon.

Alex Vanhoose, hut his knee against Belfry. We won't know how bad till some time this week. Thanks for the Well Wishes.
