I look for McDaniel and Justice to have a shootout. Justice didn't play well in his first state tournament appearance last year so it'll be interesting to see how both teams react playing in front of a big crowd.

Justice will do a lot better this year.
During the post-season it was Davis's team last year, that isn't the case with this Knott County team.

I agreed. I think him and McDaniel both will get at least their fair share of 20+ even if they don't have great shooting nights. The battle inside with Hall and Bowling could be interesting.

Picking Knott County 56-50. Justice will really show up in this game

KCC by 5. Good luck to both teams.

KCC 67 Clay 59
Should be a good game to watch

Cool I like my TIGERS playing in the roll of underdogs, they've performed well there lately. I Like their chances.

I wish Johnson Central had drawn a mountain team......but Clay and Knott will be a good matchup, and the beauty of it, a mountain team will make it to the elite 8 for sure this way! I'm rooting for all EKY schools

I like the Tigers chances in this. Other than Justice, the Tigers are better at everybody position. It'll be interesting to see how Marcum handles Justice.

^ I don't agree with that

I do. As impossible as it may be, what if Justice doesn't have a stellar game? Clay's role players are better than KCC. Hall and Bowling cancel out. This could be very interesting.

Athletically they cancel out. Skill wise Hall is much better than Bowling and I'm a die hard Clay fan. If Knott can slow it down Clay will have their hands full. If Clay can get out and run and get some easy buckets early to get the jitters out I like their chances.

I don't mean to sound like a homer, but.........:lmao:

I agree Hit and Run that Hall is better skill wise. I really believe that is the game gets over 65, Clay wins this one. But it solely depends on which team controls the pace.
And Downtown, I've too many games this year where Justice had to do it all on his own. Not saying Knott's supporting cast isn't good, just think Clay across the board is better. Interesting to see if Knott has anyone that can stop Lyttle. He seems to cause matchup problems for anyone Clay plays.

Very true. That's why I predicted the score somewhat high. Clay County simply does not lose when the score is high 60's or above.

Amen Iceman. I mean when you have one player averaging 25 that says something. McDaniel is around 18 with 3 others above 10. That doesn't even include the postseason Rice is having.

Which games were that?

An OT game in a holiday tournament. We scored 51 against Wayne. Come on... I said the game in the high 60s or above. Anybody who was in the gym during the Wayne game will agree the Tigers should've stayed home.

Wayne took care of their end on the 60+. Go see how many games Knott lost by such margins wide margins and they played a tougher schedule.
But I guess that's neither here nor there right? Clay lost to Wayne by 28, the sum of Knott's 5 losses is 22. This team is more than Cam Justice and no one has said Knott should stay home.

Knott by 4

I don't think Knott has won 15 in a row either Stlcardsfan. We'll see how it goes. If Clay gets off to a good start they will move on. If not then they will have a time as Knott dictates the pace really well.

This post has been nothing but positive comments about their respective teams and this guy decides to go off. Haha just tell your score and go back to your ensure.

If you are gonna put stuff out there back it up. Knott would've won those 15 games in a row.

I just don't understand why you got so offensive over people predicting their outcomes of the game. Most people believe it will be a close game either way, no matter who wins and from your tone it sounds like you think Knott County should win by 15+. That's my only issue.

KCC 68 - Clay 63

Not at all, it'll be a close one. I don't mind people's predictions, just definitive statements like "Clay doesn't lose games in the high 60s" when they have. I will let it go if my opposition bothers you.

When the Tigers score over 65 they are 18-1 my friend.

Whoever wins this game will (lacking a miracle from JC) have to play Ballard the next night, and that my friends could get really ugly quick.
Peace Out
