Collins over Oldham County

Collins has the most talent, played the toughest schedule and beat the best teams. They lost in the finals last year to Oldham County and I think this year they will get revenge. Nobody in the region can beat them if they play like they did in the final 3 quarters against Anderson County. Speaking of Anderson County, they will be a very tough out for anyone. Should be another great tournament. I'm looking forward to a great week of basketball at Henry County!

I think it ends up being Anderson v Collins for the region with Collins taking it. Sad that my Dragons have been around since 1990 and have (I believe) 0 region titles while a school only a couple years old stands a good chance to win their first.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if it is a Collins/Anderson final. Its pretty amazing what Collins has been able to do so far with many regional and state championships in different sports. South Oldham always seems to have a good team they just can't seem to get things to go their way.

Grant County will be a tough out, but like you said it will be very difficult for them to win the region. They have a tough first round game against Oldham, who always plays well in the post season.

• Just realized that 3 of the 4 quarterfinals are rematches of the 2012 tourney. Eminence replaced Gallatin Co to oppose Simon Kenton.
  
• 6 of the 8 teams have 20 wins. Last year, 7 of the 8 had 20 Ws.
  
• South Oldham-Collins is the headliner of the quarterfinal round. I also think Owen-Anderson should be a pretty good game.
