Should be a great district tournament at magoffin love there gym , and you can beat it will be loud. The match up with magoffin and lawrence should be a good one.

I'm definitely looking forward to it. It should be a great game. It will be a crazy atmosphere. Coach Russell has done a good job. They are playing their best ball at the right time. This is what it is all about.

I was glad to see coach Ruseel get things over there turned around, playing a lot of young kids takes time. Lawrence countys coach has done a great job they got off to a rocky start ,but they have had a great season. Magoffin is still learning how to win, Lawrence has figured it out.

Looking forward to seeing all the games in this tournament it will be an exciting one. Most seem to think that Central will win it all; but hasn't Cards beat them twice already this year?

Should be a very competitive tournament! Johnson Central is 10 pts better than anyone when healthy. Sheldon Clark has had their # this season though. Paintsville has played really well at the end of the season. Lawrence Co. is one of the hottest teams in the region right now. Magoffin Co. has won a few in row at the end of the season as well. They will also have home court advantage! I think the pressure is on the Eagles and Cards but they are always an upset or two? Should be fun to watch!!

I think the fun part is that any team is beatable and they have shown that. There isn't a clear favorite. The action gets going tonight, can't wait.

LC beat Magoffin last night 84-72. It was a very good match up and a great atmosphere for a high school game. Both teams came ready to play. Lawrence moves on to play Sheldon Clark in the second semi Wednesday night. The first game has Paintsville vs. Johnson Central.

Both games last night were worth the price of admission. A couple thoughts about this tournament now: EXCELLENT job of parking and getting both in and out of the gym. loved the fire departments helping direct traffic.

How are they going to get everyone in the gym on Wednesday night? I think they should have done the old routine of 4-5 monday, 1-4/5 tuesday, 2-3 wednesday final of who plays first in region on thursday, other final on friday! Two boys games in a small gym will be crazy!

We had to park in the lower lot, Magoffin gave us a bus ride up to the upper level. I thought that was a good touch.
