What y'all think? Who wins it?
02-04-2013, 10:21 PM
Perry Central.
02-04-2013, 10:26 PM
Perry but don't count out Hazard or JBS
02-04-2013, 10:29 PM
Knott or Cordia. Trophy stays in the 53rd.
02-04-2013, 10:49 PM
Hazard Bulldogs
02-04-2013, 11:31 PM
Knott

Until someone knocks them off, Perry

I'll be the first to jump on the ship, give me Cordia.

Up for grabs, much like the 13th and 15th regions.

Thought Hazard would be there at the end and they still may be with Hollan coming back. Hazard got dismantled in the Wymt but they can play with anyone when they are on the same page. I really like Knott County and their team. Perry is going to be tough but you never know which Perry team will show up sometimes. I'm not on the Cordia bandwagon yet but they do have alot of talent but can Rhodes make the right decisions in crunch times? For me right now,it's a tossup between Knott and Perry. Will know more after Thursday night.

I don't think any team is unbeatable this year...
but I share your opinion.
Until someone in the 14th beats them - they should be the fave

If Cordia beats them on the 15th will that change your opinon???

Maybe for Perry, but not Cordia.
KCC or Cordia beat PCC before region I'll take Knott with Hazard close behind. It's hard to predict this region with 2 top 5 teams playing in first round of their district.

Makes it VERY hard to predict this region with whats going on the the 54th this year. JMO but Hazard will come out on top this time. And I like Cordia's odds even better with Perry out of mix. Trust me when I say we haven't seen any teams full potential imo besides Knott. In Cordias 2nd and 3rd games as a full team beat a hollan-less hhs team at home and played within 4 of
Knott with making 15 unforced turnover(14 walks). Cordia will be playing their best ball of the year at the end of this season.

Let me explain something to everyone on here...
make sure to pay attention to this and if you don't understand go back to the top of this post and read it again.
Cordia has done NOTHING to prove that they will win the 14th region.
They LOST to JBS (Hindman Campus). Let me repeat that. They LOST to JBS (Hindman Campus).
Don't give me this crap about how it was a close game and the refs sucked and blah blah freaking blah. The buzzer sounded and they didn't have as many points. They picked up a win against Hazard but the Bulldogs were down their best player and their best shooter went down in that game too if I'm not mistaken. Besides Hazard, since the Lions got the Canadians eligible they've beaten June Buchanan (Pippa Passes Campus), Powell County (in Overtime), Jenkins (congratulations) and Letcher Central (decent win).
I wish them all the luck in the world and I want nothing more than the talent level around here to rise and competition be at an all-time high, but right now the Cordia Lions are simply another team that just happens to have some kids getting looked at by some college programs.

^Bet 50 with you they come away with a W the 15th. And thanks for adding all the other teams disadvantages and over looked the lions have played less team ball then any other team in the region and are 5th in the mountains. Gotta be fair now zaga.

^Tagaloa also went down mid 4th with an ankle sprain in the Hazard game.

I better save my money.

By all the other teams' disadvantages did you mean Hazard?
Because that is the only team I said anything about.

I'll let KHSAA12 have the first shot at it...
since he has been the only consistent voice of the Cordia Lions on this board over the last few years.

I seriously can't bet you 50 dollars.
If Perry was playing against the Robinson Blue Jays B-Team I wouldn't put money on it - just one of my things.
