Ask Indiana if they regret doing away with a class system, attendance has drop off considerably in their playoff system. One class is special in this state because even though there is always a favorite or 2 you still have that one or 2 teams that can get hot and be crowned the ONLY champion in the state of Ky. regardless of their size.

I'm not pointing to the 15 region particularly, but statewide, I'd say
that most districts do NOT have a facility that is really suitable for
hosting a regional. And it's certaily not fair for a school to get to host
a regional on it's home court every year, but consideration DOES need
to be made for centrality of location and ease of access for attendance
for ALL schools on a yearly basis.

Henry County ALWAYS hosts the 8th region and has since the 60s. It is fairly centralized to the region, it is large enough to accommodate and most of all, it is a TRADITION.
