If the rules which all high schools are suppost to abide by since they are members of the KHSAA he would have never played for Pikeville this year as they ruled his transfer ineligible. Only a Pikeville judge ruled him eligible. And dont give me if would be unfair for him to miss this season. If the KHSAA ruling had been upheld his AAU connections would have him playing at a prep school somewhere.A legal lesson for you. The judge did not rule him eligible, he ruled that the removal from the home and subsequent placement with a new family were legal. THAT in turn made him eligible in the eyes of KHSAA since it was a legit change of address.
I agree with Pantherthunder, too many people just hate Pikeville so much, they basically can not see the forest for the trees. This post and the others need to be closed by a mod, since they are WAY beyond being just off topic now.

you are wrong the KHSAA has never ruled him eligible In fact they have an appeal in the works but the season will be over before it makes it to court. Better check with your KHSAA rep I already checked with mine

And I should have stated the judge did issue an injunction that made him eligible. A legal lesson for you It doesnt take an injunction to change guardians. The last guardian did not fight the move. But it does take an injuction to overrule a KHSSA decision Your post is just another example of Pikeville peoples belief that they are above and are smarter than county people.

Wish you could spend as much time cheering for your Warriors as you do trying to bash Kasongo and the Panthers. nicker:

No one including the KHSAA can overrule a court injunction. The Court of Appeals is the only place a temporary injunction can be overturned.
We all know Ray came to Pikeville for his education anyways LOL :biglmao:

Your right. He did not fight the move. But he and his family did show up at the KHSAA to fight against his eligibility at Pikeville. Then trashed him during the Pikeville vs. ER game at the EXPO.:flush:

He is getting a better education at Pikeville. And maybe he also came to Pikeville so he could play in the All A state tournament. Something SV or ER could not offer him this year. hh:

Don't worry SV will be fine without him, and East Ridge is doing fine without him as well

When you all know you are wrong you shout BASHING I am not bashing Ray or Pikeville. MY ONLY POINT IS THE RULING BODY DECLARED HIM INELIGIBLE ONLY A PIKEVLLE JUDGE MADE HIM ELIGIBLE TW oliver without your illegal player you would never has smelled the All a champ game

Education is what you make of it, regardless of where you go. I have kids at Harvard, Duke, Northwestern, Vandy, you name it. I only have to write a dissertation to have my Doctorate Degree and I attended one of the "worst" High Schools and I was raised by my mother in a mobile home and didn't have 2 nickles to rub together, so don't give me that B.S. People today are looking for excuses to fail..... Make your own success in life, no excuses!

I will nitpick this statement every time I see it. Kids these days learn when and what they want to learn. While test scores can be skewed they never really give an indication of how "intelligent" someone is. I know kids from Pikeville High School that aren't fit to flip hamburgers at McDonald's, while at the same time there is a kid from East Ridge getting a doctorate, and vice-versa.

I have nothing against Ray. I wish him well. But for you to trash another schoolâs educational system is not right. Iâm all the time seeing post getting locked for people bashing players. How about people getting warned for bashing other schoolâs in the manner you just did. To say anyone is getting a better education anywhere over another school is not right. At least kids are trying to get a education instead of out causing trouble.

Congrats to Pikeville on a big District win.

Stating an opinion is trashing? Pikeville's academics speak for themselves. Good luck to East Ridge. They will get better and better and will be a beast to deal with in the post season.
