Congrats to LC on playing a great game! They shot the ball really well in this game. I really like the way #2 (Chaffins?) plays for them. He's got a very nice skill set and gets after it on offense and defense.

Hornets couldn't buy a shot the whole game basically. Jeff Bolen led the Hornets in scoring with 18 I think. Weird thing is he played almost the entire game with a broke middle finger lol

I agree, they couldn't buy a shot. Chaffins has a really nice game. Lawrence has at least 5 different players that can put up 20 on any given night. They are starting to learn the system and learning how to play team defense.

What is Magoffin County thinking?

They play NO defense, don't/won't rebound (got outrebounded by LC), can't beat anyones press, run zero plays for their best player and let an 8th grader shoot his arm off.

They have 4 year starter at Point Guard and one of the best Centers (who never receives the ball when he's in scoring position) in the Region along with experience at other positions.

To get beat by Lawrence County this bad is totally embarassing for their program!

LC just wanted this game more, and took it to Magoffin all night. The Hornets got ran out of the gym!!

They sure did want it more and it showed. Hornets looked like they hadn't slept any the night before! They couldn't get up and down the floor hardly!
