* Christ Presbyterian 55, Trinity 47: The Nashville team's height bothered Trinity at both ends of the floor and the Lions whipped Kentucky's defending state champion. Jalen Lindsey, a 6-6 junior, scored on four alley-oop dunks in his 18-point, seven-rebound game as Christ Presbyterian -- Tennessee's state Class 2-A champion last season -- rolled to 10-0 under coach Drew Maddux.

Braxton Blackwell, a 6-6 freshman, had 14 points and nine rebounds as Christ Presbyterian advanced to tonight's 9 o'clock semifinal against Bullitt East, which knocked off Pleasure Ridge Park. Christ Presbyterian won last year's King of the Bluegrass.

Trinity will play PRP at 4:30 in the consolation bracket.

"We knew about Trinity winning the state championship, so we knew they were good,'' Lindsey said. "We just came out and played physical against them. We came out and executed.''

Trinity only hit 15 of 47 shots for 31.9 percent despite an 18-point game by Miles Rice, who made 7 of 11 shots, including 4 of 5 threes.

Wasn't really as close as the score indicated. CPA has no senior starters. If that freshman for them is really a freshman I have some land in Florida to see ya.
