Why are so many UK games getting blacked out?

Just was flipping through to see what channel the game come on and low and behold I found it... Blacked out... this is the 3rd game this year on DISH that has been blacked out.... How can I get around this.. ( dont tell me to switch dish carriers the wife wont..) PLEASE help!!!!

ESPN 3 had them blacked out in this area. Probably a contractual agreement since foxsportssouth carried them live.

Foxsports South has them blacked out as well just stinks have to try and stay up and catch them delayed.

I think it has to do with the game not being a sale-out and they are trying to get people to go to the games rather than watching. Comes down to money.

I have been able to watch all the games on ESPN3 this year even though it says blacked out.

Ive not missed one yet with time werner.
Theyve all been on fox sports south.

I fricken hate dish and Direct.

I have cable and if I'm not mistaken it comes on ESPN 3 tonight.

I've got Time Warner but we get foxsportsOhio instead of foxsportssouth.

That sucks horribly.
You would think they would give you all FSS instead of Ohio, but i guess your too close.

I pretty much get to see them all.
For 5 dollars extra a month i get 300 and something channells, including ESPN U and others.

I have Direct and I have all of the fox sports channels.

I watched it on foxsportssouth last night, but there were like 5 other channels I could have watched it on.

Plus, I got a new 50 inch flatscreen TV yesterday, so the game was AWESOME watching it on that.

You can get espn3 with an xbox, if I remember correct.

directv does the same. However I usually catch the game on fox sports south on the cable connection we have.

I have Dish as well and the key is having the sports pack. Even when the games are blacked out, if you go to the alternate sports channels 412-27 though 42 you can usually find the game on one of those.

Yea you can but to watch it live now you have to have one of there three cable providers

I've got Dish & haven't missed a game yet, they've been on the alt channels between 440-443.
