Btw, the only reason there is any HYPE, as you call it, or expectations or tradition, etc. is because Belfry consistently backs up anything said about them with great play on the field.

I am not from either school and I personally think is ridacolous the way Belfry fans are acting on here. I mean come on Gents. Belfry you might think your the best of the best and same goes to Bourbon County but the game is 60 minuntes and it should be a hard faught battle between both schools. But I was considering making the drive from Hart County to watch this game but after reading this. I am terrified about making the trip becuase I feel like if Belfry gets beat then the fans would try to start fights with the fans or try to start riots. BUT GROW UP BELFRY Fans!

I to have been going to Belfry ball games nearly 30 years and Breathitt by far has been the rudest place I have ever been . such as last year all the signs saying Belfry fans your seating is on the other side of the field then also being told the same thing at the gate when I bought a ticket.

Butthurt about the thumping the Pirates took to the Bobcats...If it had of been Breathitt vs. Bourbon, I and many other Pirate fans would have pulled for Breathitt to win. But coming in here wining about the fans?? The fans dont strap up and play the game, the players do and the better team won. Fans will be fans, no matter the sport, no matter the team. I'm sure that there was some chest thumpers from Breathitt walking into The CAM last week thinking their undefeated team was going to beat Belfry, well the Belfry fans are no different, we feel that we can win each game. So don't blame "The Fans" for your team (Breathitt)dropping an offensive egg after the 1st quarter until Belfry took their starters out in the 4th. It wasn't Belfrys "FANS" that had those interceptions setting up Belfry touchdowns. So wear some Maroon and Gold tonight and sing the praises of the Colonels if you want to, but for the second week in a row, you may get disappointed.

Sitting here getting ready for the game, its cold and raining out and that means its Belfry football weither. I to have been on the field as a PIRATE and have been a fan for around 40ish yrs. We play harder in the bad weither and at CAM the fans are a little more hard core than most. As for rude fans I was at Breathitt last year and the seating was so bad they should have been outlawed. So some of us went to the Breathitt side and thought they would be respectful but I seen some of them throwing stuff on some of the Belfry fans and spitting on them to. I would just about bet it will be a running clock by the end of the 3rd QT and the fans will be heading home. Belfry O-line is big fast and the backs run low hard and fast. This Hopkins kid may be fast and a great player but its over for them tonight. Bourbon has done well this year and I'm sorry they have had to run into the Pirates at the end of the tourament. Go Belfry

Most everyone I have talked to who has seen both teams and whose opinion I trust has said they think it will be a war. Belfry will have to play exceptional defense and not give up the big plays to win. Bourbon's defense is speedy and their linebackers fly to the ball.
