I've know 1991#8 for nearly his whole life, trust me it is all in fun. He can take it as we'll as he can dish it out. He is a big dude with a bigger sense of humor. Anyone who has been around the pirate program knows him and knows how much fun he likes to have. He comes from good family (which may be the biggest Belfry supporters there is) all with big hearts. I laughed all day yesterday and threw in a couple of digs of my own. If anyone had a banter with #8 he would more than feed ya at the tailgate And laugh about it. His way of having fun and getting ready to watch the Big Red Machine Roll. Trust me its all in fun!

Saw in the Williamson Daily that Keaton Taylor is nursing an ankle injury. Does anyone know if he will be 100%? If not, Belfry will need to play an injury free game with Johnson out.

If Belfry can dominate the LOS on offense and establish Hatfield and Carr with some power running, they should be ok.

Keaton didn't play much last week, but I'll swing over to his house and ask how he's doing in a little bit. Lol. The Hatfield-Carr-Robinson backfield isn't really a 2nd string backfield, it's more like a 2nd starting backfield. Offers a different dynamic. Kinda like how in 2007, there was the May-Varney-Lee backfield, and the May-Lee-Dotson backfield.

Obviously you haven't watched much belfry film because our fullback will more than likely hit you first step over you and rumbling for a few more yards. Hatfield is a beast at fullback and I would venture to say one of the best that has stepped on the field in his short varsity career so far. Believe me it won't be hard to find him because he will hit you first.

The way I look at it, when you step on that field, when you walk on that sideline, when you sit in those stands, you represent the Belfry Pirates. Same is true when you post online as a member of the Pond Creek Nation. In all those instances, we should all represent with class and pride. Many before us have built the tradition of excellence and it demands that we continue to carry it on, because we are all Pirates for life, and that means something. At least to me it does.

If I walk on that field, or sideline, or stands or post on a website, and my actions make a jackass of myself, then it reflects badly on the whole Belfry Pirate family and I have tarnished that image. So I'm going to say no thanks if "having fun" comes at that price, I am not interested. I will leave the smack talk to those less mature or those who don't quite understand what it means to represent the Belfry Pirates with class.

They must be talking about the KHSAA scoreboard which lists teams by record and is not even a ranking. Actually, the last AP poll had Breathitt at number one, but Central is still the king of 3A until they get knocked off IMO.
