For Belfry to win this game.

1 Don't buy into the hype that they are a big favorite. . Must come out focused. Remember the Garrard County game last yr.

2. The 12th man must come out ready to rock n roll. The Pirates are 19-3 in the playoffs since CAM opened in 2005.

3. Belfry must play disciplined and make the plays. Don't give up the big play. Bourbon has the majority of there players back from one year ago. Very athletic and quick. Belfry must come out physical and see if Bourbon wants to play that way. I was told that there atheticism compares to Henry Clay.

My prediction if everyone is focused Belfry by two touchdowns.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Bourbon has a quarter back that can also make some plays. Good size and good arm. Just when you start to focus on there running game he can kill ya with the deep ball.

Yeah they don't throw it much but Pope can do it with his arm. 22 td's to only 4 int's. I know that Bourbon is athletic and fast but are they a physical team ?

Not very physical from what I've seen. Backs run hard, but line is a lite under sized. If Belfry does not play disciplined this could be a shoot out. All in all four quarters of football goes to Belfry, to much size and depth. Hard for any team to take a pounding for that long, just ask Breathitt!

Aside from our fast food choices, you also have a pretty good Mexican restaurant in South Williamson called "El Azul Grande" and a steak house on the mall hill "Thoroughbread Steakhouse" Also there is Tunnel Drive In in Williamson which has some killer hot dogs, and Starter's in Williamson which is a sports bar.

That's funny, Belfry didn't invent those assets they just happen to posses them. Teams such a Central, Bell, Breathitt and Tilghman seem to have the same attributes year in and year out. That is why these teams sit ahead of the class in 3A. I've said that this game could easily be a shoot out. I just think size and depth will be to much for Bourbon. Bourbon may have more speed but Belfry defense pursues well to the ball and can play very disciplined. If all things are equal I give edge to Belfry, as long as Mr. Haywood is calling g the shots from the sideline.

I was looking Bourbon over and I think Hopkins, Holman, Johnson, Hilander have to play both sides of the ball. I'm not sure about Pope they all have been putting up good numbers, but if they dont get breaks they won't make it to the second half. Belfrys Oline is like a bear, they will stay on you all night and waller you in the ground. Belfry has always been a second half team, but here lately they have been a 4QT team and thats a plus. Belfrys big, fast and strong with numbers on both sides of the ball. Then in CAM with the red and white Pirate fans makes it tuff for anyone to play with them. GO BELFRY!!!!!

I keep seeing on here that hopkins will be most athletic, fastest, and most shifty kid belfry will have seen all year. I have only watched highlights and not seen this kid play in person, but if he is better than henry clay's elijah bell then I gotta see this friday nite. Definitely not saying he isnt but if he is all I can say is WOW!!!
