You looked pretty good last year and everyone said it was in the bag but, then you got in the Championship game and stunk the place up. Gotta respect someone that gets on here and says what they think. You may not like it but there it is. I bet he won't make a tackle or score a TD during a single game, but 90% of you will say this will effect the game. Bullcrap when I played (through college) I never actually thought about anything like this during a game, football players are caught up in the moment. So of you need to appreciate the passion other fans have. I bet CARDINALfan is standing up cheering everything during a game. And the rest of you are chewing your nails wishing he would sit down in front of you, but don't have the balls to tell him. Good Luck CF, but Go Frankfort!

Troll. I think that Mayfield has a great shot but way to many things can happen this time of year. If you have a major player or 3 go down the game before in small school ball a few kids can make a monster difference. So no a legit Mayfield fan would go there after last year.

Until someone can prove Mayfield Beechwood and Hazard wrong thats the way its going to be until the KHSAA changes classes, Like it or not we can get on here each year and say this one and that one but these 3 teams are so much better than the rest, Lets see if any one can prove us wrong I dont think so I be surprised.

Here's a little something I came up with to prove what ball boy is saying. In the interest of space, I just went back to 1995. Five of these teams are now 2A, LCA, NCC, Danville, Hancock Co. & Middlesboro.

As you can tell this list, winners & losers, is full of Mayfield, Beechwood and Hazard teams.

To be fair in this you need to know a few things that have changed. 1996-1999 Bwood was representing the east. So that would technically make three more wins for the east. In looking at it that way, this would mean the west won 9 and the east 8. That is why I think this east west thing is a little crazy. I will bet the better team will win the state championship. I bet they wont even care that they won it for the east or the west. I understand the point that if Bwood is now a west team then that changes it to look like the west has won 12 to 5 for the east. I just don't really like to think of it that way. I think the thing to look at here is the best team will win. I just hope that it is us.
