Lets look at previous teams that both teams have played this year
Wayne co and La Rue !!!! Bell beats Wayne 21-7 Central goes 16-8 both games early in season not much to take away here ....Bell beats La Rue 35-14 Central goes 21-8 Bell co has 4 turnovers against La Rue and still comes out the big winner.....First of the year my brain tells me Central but after some comparisons I think this game is weighted in Bell Co's favor especially with home field advantage ...Defensive battle Bell co wins 14-7

IMO Central wins this because the passing game is needed to beat Central. Bell has a couple of great backs but their passing game has been spotty at best. Wayne was able to take advantage of Central playing man and keeping alot in the box playing aggressive D im not sure bell can pass well enough to keep there two all state lb from killing their game plan. Im a Wayne Co. fan so I know both teams are good at what they do each and are more similar than most would think Good Luck to both teams! Wayne Co. will be back for more next year!

I wouldn't get into comparing scores for this one. Central will roll in with a chip on their shoulder. Bell will be proud and tall and ready to defend Log mountain. This will be a clash of the Titans. Much much closer game than last year, but in the end I'm picking Central because I think their Defense will be the difference. They have 2 lb's that can flat play. Their overall team speed is amazing. It will be a great game and trust me I'm hoping I'm wrong. Good luck to both teams!!!!!

I dont think you can compare teams on how they play one team or the other. Each game is different and will be played differently by each ball club. (Im sure wayne co would love to have that one back.) My predictions are, this game will be closer than last years 26-0. The team with the fewest turnovers and penalities will win. Very close game. Much respect for central but hard to beat bell two years in a row.

Nobody in Central's crowd messed with any of the Bell players last year @ central.

No offense, but Central's Defense has allowed more than 3 TD's only twice this season. One was to a very stout Evansville Reitz team thatr Central beat handily, the other was to St. X.

Bell may win this game, I hope they do, but I find it hard to believe they will score more on Central's defense then St.X, PRP, or Ballard.

We're not trying to scare you or make you think we're a bunch of crazy rednecks.. We just take pride in our football team.. The fans, players, and coaches all know that when the bobcats play a big game on Log Mtn, it's to our advantage.. We defend our home turf and know that we just do not lose there.. We love when the opposing team brings a big crowd.. So please come and support your team, we will support ours, and the best team will come out on top.. Good Luck!

Just fans/community showing a tremendous amount of pride and support for their team. You'll find that just about anywhere you go in this state, especially here in the East, because we love our football. It is not meant to be perceived as "unwelcoming", intimidating maybe . I think I speak for most teams in this part of the state in saying we gladly welcome visiting teams no matter where you are from.

In my opinion,, Log Mtn is one of the beat places to play in the state. We have a very nice and friendly fan base.. Like I said before, we just simply take pride in playing at home! Not only bobcat fans have said its an advantage to us playing at home.. Last year, I definitely think that Central had a nice homefield advantage and some our players were intimidated by it.. But it's a different story this yr, an our players and fans know that as well as other Kentucky High School football fans across the state.. Log Mtn is just a tough place to play

Talking about atmosphere is a scare tactic? Ever been to a Bell County High School game at Log Mountain? The atmosphere that is referred to is this, standing room only crowd. Very loud with fans cheering, anything to make noise, cow bells ringing.......sounds like a bar room brawl to me. You don't know what you are talking about. This is HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL at its best. Kids playing a sport that each community, be it Bell County or the fine people from Louisville Central, can at the end of the game come together and say...WOW, We just watched an awesome HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL game. Yes some people will relive the game, make excuses as to why there team lost and to why there team won.....But, at the end of the game we will all say this was for the kids, the boys playing football, the girls and guys being cheerleaders and the kids playing in the band.
I've never seen anyone post such stupid comments about a HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAME than some comments i've read from you and coachdad. I'm not sure what my prediction was but i'm thinking it will be a low scoring game and the closer it gets to friday it may be a touchdown either way, Bell or Central. A blowout by either team would be a complete surprise to me. Which ever team turns the ball over the least imo will be the winner.

I dont know what it is but there is something different about the crowds and the fan base that follows teams like Belfry, Bell, Breathitt, and other tradition rich schools such as those. I'm not trying to ruffle any feathers as far as Any of Central fans. If you want to talk about atmospheres then I wish some of you could make it to the Belfry Breathitt game. Two tradition rich schools with two great coaches and their records can prove it. And two fan bases that cheer loud and proud for their respective teams. Central you will enter an atmosphere like no other except that at the CAM stadium. Good luck to both teams. But GO BELL!!!!!!

I have been to games at Belfry before.....been a long time. A very great atmosphere for high school football, some other places i've been that have a great atmosphere. Boyle County( the home side stands looks like it is above the field, great atmosphere) Harlan County(a new field but awesome atmosphere for a game) Central( great fans and people) and Papa Johns Stadium in the playoffs.....I know i've missed out on a bunch but those are some great places to watch a game. To me high school football and college football are great.

Everyone, honestly, just ignore Coachdad. This guy is a troll at it's best. He trolls more than either of the wide's. Do you not remember last year how after the game he continually gloated about Central making us look terrible and stuffing everything we did AFTER the game when he showed respect before? All the while he was gloating about how after last year he wasn't worried about Central because he's got his sons NFL future to look forward to? Ignore this idiot. Anyone whose ever been to a Bell County playoff game, heck even a regular season game, can tell you it's an awesome atmosphere, and from the door greeters, to the concession gals, to the fans who make an effort to say hi to the folks visiting, their is no threat of anything other than some looooud cheering, foot stomping that'll make the stands rock, air horns, and cow bells throughout the night. He's trying to get bulletin board material so Central can walk in with a chip on their shoulder, just ignore him. Everyone in Bell County knows what Central is capable of, and has respect for them. That doesn't mean the boys are going to bow down, back down, and run away from them when the whistle blows to get the game started though. A lot of kids on this team, I know, has been waiting, hoping, striving, and working their hind ends off for this game friday night since last November.
