WOW, That was a surprise to me. Where are all crap talkers from out of the CC area. This team is starting to remind me a little of the team that went to state in 2008. Lost the district then got on fire and went all the way to Cardinal Stadium. I do not believe though that this team will make it past next weeks game but they still played a longer season than any other 6a team from NKY.
HOP not sure about out coached. Marksberry is terrible and always will be. As far as the field goes it was vandalized the kids are showing pictures all over in internet. Not very sportsman like of our school. And you can not say for 100 percent that it was not kids from the team. There are some of them that I would not doubt if they were involved and that is a shame.

Winning next week would be a tall order for either team I believe. I can say for sure one was not involved. Last time we played SC I knew after watching warmups we were going to get crushed. Kids looked like they didn't want to be there, weather was horrible, but hey that's football. Coach did call a great game he changed everything. First game we had 18 yards rushing for the game. They more than doubled that on the first drive. Sampson and Kuntz were running downhill all night setting up easy passes for Kuntz to make. Defense was 10x better this go round tackling Durham for losses a few times which is one tall order.

A close game with one bad series for CC before their final series ,not sure running Durham down field on a pass that didn't connect first play of their last series was a good call when his wheels are crucial for runs , but it looked like some illegal contact downfield on that play but I'm bias , Sk came to play and was fired up not sure what all the field vandalism talk was about no one should have gave it a second thought and simply focused on the game , Sk ran the ball a little better than the previous game perhaps because of some missing CC defenders and some who were not 100 % and CC had a couple offensive blunders at crucial times either way great season for the CC kids , congrats to them , and to Sk two great games these teams had this yr .

The line play was the difference in this game, just as it was in the first game. Offensive line was blowing big holes this go around. Sampson 17-121, Kuntz 64 yards and 2 rushing TD's, Bowling 2 carries, 1 TD. Kuntz was 12 of 13 for 105 and 1 TD. SK goes to the regional finals for the 4th time out of the last 5 years. Hats off to CC and Coach Lickert, your program is definately on the right track. For all the folks trashing NKY 6A, looks like you were wrong, another team makes it to the final 8. I like what Stardust said in an earlier post, if you take out the 2 Lou. Catholic free education for inner-city athletic kids 6A would be the most competitive class in the state.
