Breathitt Co @ Belfry 11/16/12

throw deep Wrote:After talking with a couple of Belfry's assistant coaches today I have 2 questions: 1)I wonder how long it took Breathitt to edit out the part of the gamefilm that they exchanged with Belfry when Trent got hurt?? Numerous plays in the 3rd and 4th quarters were missing!!!!
2)Did Chapman install and run Belfry's offense just to give the Bobcats an extra week to prepare for the Pirates?? Its funny how you go from the shotgun, 4 wideouts, and trips formations to running the flexbone, counter trey, and belly series all in one week!!!!

they didnt have the players Belfry and there not used to running that so it may do more harm to Breahitt than good, lol

Gotta go with the Pirates in this one 21--13.

Not really sure how this game will turn out after hearing what happened in the Pike Central game. If a Breathitt fan could answer this for me, who if anyone will be out for this game?

I predict a low scoring game that will come down to special teams, penalties, and turnovers. Most of the games between these two teams go this way.

Let's worry about the future in the future. On Friday, the 16th Belfry plays Breathitt. Bourbon plays Mason. Let those two games play out THEN we will start talking about that... Jeez.

Trent will go nowhere against Belfry's defense sorry to tell youSmile

Haywood is a Great Coach but he will not install a Def. that can take both away from Trent. Got to pick Breathitt in a Nail bitter 28-24, Trent is real deal.

Noticed last season that Breathitt moved the ball in the air. They just turned the ball over, as they did all game it seemed. If they pass and take care of the ball, they have a good chance of winning the game, especially it being @ Belfry where BC has proven they can win.

If that's true, then I choose Belfry. Those things you mentioned are usually strong points of Haywood's teams. Breathitt's special teams have been poor most of the season. Plenty of penalties throughout the year. They simply are not a well-disciplined team. But, they keep winning in spite of all that. They are a talented, confident bunch. It's going to take a great effort by Belfry to knock them off.

Gonna have to go with the Pirates in this one. Should be an absolute classic though!

That's all we've heard from Breathitt about last years game with Belfry. All we heard was Breathitt should have won. :dontthink If we didn't turn it over, if we didn't botch a punt , if we didn't blah blah blah. :thatsfunn

All this Trent talk, I have to ask one question: Do the refs make him tuck his cape in his jersey? or do they allow him to play with it hanging out? Confusednicker:

If the Bobcats are undisciplined, it will show against a very good Belfry team and Breathitt will lose. I really do not know much about them in 2012 and I have not seen them play. If either team lacks execution, the other will take advantage.

Assuming that Breathitt Co will have all their players for this game, I think they will win a close game! If anyone could tell me, I would still like to know who, if anyone will be out for Breathitt and if it's a key player or not. Thanks!

This is going to be a tough hard fought game. i think that the pirates will pull through. Last year it was a battle until a muffed punt led to 14 straight points. The key to this game will be the well known mean defense for the pirates. It was hard to pick the winner but I believe due to the pirates strength of schedule, we will get the win. good luck to both team for a good clean injury free game.

Does anyone know the injury report for Trent and Cox?

I can see how one player can beat some of the teams Breathitt has played.....But Belfry's whole team is the "real deal". Plus one person cannot and will not beat the Pirates!!!!!!!!

I think a WR may be out, not 100% on that though.

Do you know if it is a starter?

If it's a backup, that shouldn't be bad but, if it's a starter that could cause problems because the Bobcats will need all their starters at full health for this one!

Would be nice to get an official injury report from somebody in Breathitt!
