I agree, OC's schedule left a bunch a question marks around their overall strength that were finally answered tonight. Still, Murray is not a team to be overlooked in the West.

Called this as well this Murray team beat a GraveCounty team who just gave Warren Central fits in a 21 to 14 loss at Warrwn Central. Called out the guys doing the power rankings for not respecting Murray or Graves

Caldwell County beat Hancock 52 to 25 tonight as well really believe Murray and Caldwell have a great shot at 2a this year.

In my opinion, should be Murray's year. I don't think the championship is being decided in the briar patch. Seems I remember that talk in 2009 when they were undefeated, that is until the championship. It wasn't even close from the opening kickoff. Murray's d, I will garauntee well hang in there with anything the briarjumpers have.

Then if they both make it, it should be quite a defensive game, because IMO Somerset has one of the best D's in 2A Football.:ChairHit:

Somerset is a very good football team, but they didn't just beat the #1 team in 2A at their house. Saying the state title will be decided at the Briarpatch next week is not only cocky, but stupid as well. It will be decided on the field in Bowling Green in a couple of weeks, hopefully will Somerset is still around.

Cupid, look at the site that says second round top to bottom, I believe. It is now on page three. I missed on two others that I felt real confident about though, PT and Fort Campbell.

Gut, keep thinking that. That is exactly what was said on the middle school site too. It turned out probably the two best d3 teams there were out of the west, seeing how Butler Co won going away and Mayfield gave them their best game of the season.

Glad to see everyone has wrote Somerset and Danville off, No Chance of winning a State Championship. Murry has beat no one with a power rating above 39. until they beat O'burgh Cath. They played a week schedule. I think whoever comes out of East will win, but that has not been settled yet.

No, you are not gonna turn the tables here cellking. No one said Somerset or Danville couldn't win it, it was just the reverse. Cctiger got on here and said the state championship would be decided between Danville and Somerset on Fri. Then gut got on here and said no one from the west could win it. Now, if you don't think we should be able to defend our beliefs on here, go elsewhere. I think when it all comes down there will be most likely Somerset or NCC from the east and Murray from the west. You need to take stock in what I am saying because, I am from Mayfield and if you knew anything at all about our history, we don't much like one another. I would not say that to pump them up. I am saying that purely out of what I have seen. They would match up great from what I have seen on Somerset. The two play defense well. The two try to work the clock. I cant really tell alot about the size of Somersets bunch from the film, it can be decieving. Murray has a big line, lots of speed and they execute their blocks pretty well. They had a really good kicker that can flip the field as well.
