Russell County and Marion County met last season in the first game of the season, with the Lakers taking the win 48-21. These two teams have moved in different directions this season...Russell County is faster, stronger, and has more weapons, where Marion has gone down hill and their 2-8 record shows it. That said, this is the playoffs, and the Lakers need to approach this game just like they would a state championship. I believe they will.

Marion Co is probably a little better than their record because of the schudule they play, with that being said Russell should roll and have a big time matchup with Boyle Co in the 2nd round

Lesson learned last year...RCHS will not overlook anyone or take a game off! Showed that last week by coming out and hanging 40 plus on Adair the first quarter. Running clock by half time!

From everything I've looked at, Marion Co should be comparable to Rockcastle Co. So, a running clock in the 2nd Qtr is not out of the question as long as the Lakers are executing. Kickoff is 6:30 Central, so half time should be over around 7:45 and the game should end 24 minutes later.
Go Lakers!

I think we finally got a 3G tower near the field. So should be able to do game updates tonight.

You think? Us getting 3G is the biggest news in the county.inglepar
