Pike Central @ Prestonsburg 10/26
#1
How will Prestonsburg do against Pike Central ?
#2
maybe the score 150 this time on PCC
#3
P-burg wins easily!!!
#4
I like Pike Central
#5
Pburg rolls. Central is not very good plus they have some injuries that could further slow them down.
#6
Pike Central has now changed defensive schemes and have matured a lot from their earlier match up a lil over a month ago, with that being said I believe that Pike Central wins 49 to 32.
#7
Prestonsburg wins by 2tds.

The lights have been replaced in the score board in anticipation for this game.

My prediction will come later in the week. Waiting to know the status of Jarrell.
#9
I'm sure the status of JJ will not be a factor in this matchup.
#10
If I were P-Burg, I would rest Jarrell this week with him having a sprained ankle. There is no need to risk further injury. If Jarrell goes down with a severe ankle injury and is unable to play in the playoffs then it will be a short post season run for the blackcats. This game doesn't have any post season implications so why not rest your players who are banged up. With or without Jarrell I still like P-Burg in this game.

I think we win with or with out him also, but with him it will be by more than with out him.
Our back up QB is more than capable of coming in and getting a victory.
I'm pretty positive Jarrell will play. The question is will he be 100%.
#12
I think the bigger question this week is, will Chapman and the Hawks be harboring any ill fillings toward the Blackcats for putting them on the wrong side of the record books? Wouldn't make alot of sense to do anything foolish with the playoffs just around the corner, but we are talking about JPC here.

P-burg in a close one. In all likelihood Jarrell will sit for most of the game to heal up for the playoffs. P-burg's defense has vastly improved since their last meeting, but so has Pike Centrals. The record settiing game was a pay back for the 2011 score. P-burg should use this game as a chance to work on the running game with Grisby at QB before the playoffs start.

Jarrell will not play Friday. They are going to put Anderson in at QB. Tough break for Grigsby> He lead the JV team to a record of 7-2, spliting games with Belfry and Breathitt. No one works harder than that kid, just about have to run him out of the feildhouse in the off-season...

Any word on Pugh's injury?

It's the same ankle that he injured earlier against East Ridge.

I'd be surprised if he played...but I'll try and get a update on that.

I think this one will come down to a closer game and won't be an offensive shoot out

I agree 100%.

I think we'll be lucky to see over 50 points combined between the two. This will come down to 3rd conversions, defense, ans turnovers

Hopefully Jarrell will be 100% come playoffs. Tough break for Grigsby. I thought with Jarrell out this would have been a good time to get him some reps in at the varsity level. Anderson is a good QB also, but putting him at QB will also take a weapon away on the outside. Williams will have to work a lot harder as i'm sure he will see a lot more of double coverage now.

Depending on what offense we decide to run with Anderson at QB i can see this working. His speed and athleticism will make him a dual threat.

Take care of the ankle Jarred. Hope your ready for the playoffs.
