"The Rice/Fannin Connection"
#1
These are the 2 big men that stand out to me. they each have around 15+ boards a night. How big of a factor are they for JC? Who can fill their shoes?
#2
i think their a pretty big factor.....i believe that maybe jesse meeks and j. mccarty might be able to fill their shoes... maybe justin blanton... if they work hard. i dont know though.... i guess we will have 2 c.:loveya:
#3
I've been looking for stats on JC especially Ryan Fannin. Can anybody help me with anything?
#4
That is one of the best big men sets in the mountians. They own the paint and cant be stopped. Not only does JCHS have these to big men but they have Johnson who can come off the bench and make a diffrence.
#5
Rice and fannin dominate down low, and neither one are that big
#6
They both work extremely hard on the boards as you can see night in and night out. They make up for their size by being fundamental and having the mindset that no one is going to stand in their way. Big shout out to these two awesome players.

Two younguns are up and coming at JC. Look at the JV for the promise of a big man. Fast and strong they need work but if they have a strong summer JC will have two unstoppable big men again.

I have never seen the Rice kid, but Ryan is taller than I am at 6'4". 6'5" or 6'6" is a big post player in the 15th region.
#10
Well in the SC game they had it goin on, it was awsome we couldnt have been beat.
#11
Two big guys under the goal, that can contribute are always good to have on your team.
#12
yes rice an fannin were a big factor in the SCHS game not sayin that rest of the team didnt do good
But yes Rice an Fannin are big Factors down under the Goal
#13
rice and fannin are 2 of the top post men in the region.....after the sc game even though that rice didn't even score in double figures i think he sacrificed and dished to the open guy....I think that 2 or 3 of the jv. players may be able to fill in their spots next yr if they keep up the work over this summer.

Maybe it's just that Les Trimble didn't give him a chance. Ryan is a good ball player, he doesn't care to sacrifice his body, can jump good, and can score down low.

Definitely agree that they are a deadly combination. They work together and would make any team better. I'm glad that JC has them.

You're right it was because Les didn't give him a chance.

I have to say that Ryan Fannin is one of the best post men in the region, and he isnt that tall Jmac. And Kyle is awesome.
#22
Rice is probably the best big man in the Region at what 6'3 or 6'4. When you go out of the 15th Rice would be a small forward in most other regions.
#23
Rice and Fannin both look like they are only about 6'1 to 6'2" to me.
#24
yea they r 2 really good big men and they work really good to together.. that is a big help
