Are Wes Noble and Bobby Fraley really 6'5" and 6'7"?
10-09-2012, 11:17 PM
I never really noticed it watching them in person.

Looks like these previews were made before the shake up in the 14th. I believe Hudson should been in there somewhere and of course Justin Johnson is a top 10 player in this region. Not saying I dont agree with these rankings but I would move Hall and Cornett up and Noble and Hamilton down.
My top 10
1.Justice
2.Johnson
3.Beverly
4.Hall
5.Cornett
6.Noble
7.Hollan
8.Hamilton
9.Hudson
10.Christian

Did Johnson ever get cleared by KHSAA or was their ever any problem with that?
A problem I have is that Wolfe lost a ton from last year's team but yet their a top 5 team?

Owsley County will be a much improved team this year. They have been playing together since seventh grade and have taken their lumps the past several years. This should start to show this year. I would not be suprised if they turned out to be better than several teams in this top ten.

Yeah, I agree SK. Wolfe is not the #5 team in the 14th.

All I'll say is...... WRONG!!!!! IMO: Both rankings are WRONG!

10-10-2012, 01:26 PM
As of Tuesday Johnson is not eligable yet, Their waiting on the KHSAA to respond.
10-10-2012, 01:30 PM
IMO, Wolfe is 9th at very best in the 14th!

Bobby, yes.
Wes, maybe. If not he is close.
10-10-2012, 02:55 PM
Yes,Wes is defintely 6'5 and Bobby is 6'7. If not taller. And,really what does that have to do with anything? The kids can play. And,why pick Bob and Wes out of the group and question their height? thats funny..........

To hell with that! If someone had the number on their jersey wrong and I asked about it would that piss you off as well? I didn't say they couldn't play. I asked a simple question that I wanted answered. It was answered before your smart ass comment anyway.

6'3" and 6'4" would be more realistic. Noble is rangy and looks taller than
he probably is.

powell county is at least 5th on this list, if not 4th. teams arent going to be able to handle the pressure they bring on the floor...

I'm not sure about the 5-10 spots, but the top 4 look like a good ranking. If anything I would have Powell 9th and not even sure if Wolfe would be in top 10. If so the 10 spot it would be.

Powell County is definitely not 4th lol. 1-4 is right IMO. I think anyone on here would agree that they are not better than Perry County, Hazard, Knott County or Breathitt County.

Letcher Central will be rebuilding, but they have some talent.

Powell does return the best shooter in the region other than that they lost a ton. 4 of the 6 Powell lost were averaging at least 10 ppg, that's a lot of points to lose.

Olinger and Hudson should be top 10 !
11-13-2012, 09:12 PM
Owsley will turn some heads. Grove has moved to the point and is ready for a break out season. He may be the best player in the 56th District.

Watch out for Lee! Good senior led team, could surprise some people
