Kudos to Letcher for their huge win over Betsy Layne and jumping all the way up to the #5 spot! Ladycats responded in a big way by knocking off South Floyd in a 5 set thriller last night!

It excites me to no end to see Allen Central in the top 30 in the state, ER is now in the top 50. Both Betsy Layne and Pikeville are in the top 65 which is even better than East Ridge was last season. Volleyball is growing so much in the 15th region, it's really exciting to watch happen.

The game between East Ridge and Pikeville was probably the hardest fought, guttiest game I've watched all season long - by both teams! What a treat! I would expect the district championship to be another thriller and for Pikeville to give the Warriors everything they want and more, but look for the Warriors to hold them off and win their second straight district title. But the improvement in the Panthers from last season to where they are now continues to amaze me.

It was a true battle royale! Pikeville plays in the Fillies Fall Fling this weekend at Harrison County. Should be a decent tournament! Looking forward to see how they do.
