The meeting is not postponed...
and no death in the family that I know of.
They ran into some kind of technical issue and are looking to reschedule.
We'll see what happens. Nothing is official but a new meeting is expected.

Speaking of family the dad must be a piece of work, shopped his 16 year old son all over the state until he got the best deal! And did his mom get a job at Robinson Elementary? If she did the 10+% unemployment rate in Perry County must not be true!:Shaking:

HUB Wrote:Although, it cant be proven,if anyone from PCC,including his current coach, approached Johnson about transferring, then they broke the rules. The problem being,of course, that it cannot be proven. This kid will be eligible. The KHSAA will, probably, rule him ineligible, initially. However, the appeals judge will recommend he be eligible because of the move and Tackett will relent and, ultimately, rule him eligible. Just like Jaysean, last year. It isn't what you know, it is what you can prove.
Spurlock and Johnson family are very good church people they wouldn't lie about something like this:biglmao:

Sounds like someone is jealous. It really pisses me off when people go around talking about people they don't even know! His mom and dad are great people and would do anything for anyone, and so would Justin. Before people goes around talkin about Justin or any of his family, people needs to know what kind of people they are....they are great people

I heard Mr. Paige last year had to leave early because his family lost their jobs after there was no more need of Jaysean's talent.

I find this entire situation comical......I'm mean honestly, are we suppose to believe that no one approached this kid about transferring when the coach left? From what I hear it wasn't a secert that he, the family, was willing to transfer under the right circumstance. I guess the right circustance opened up.

The KHSAA needs to enforce their rules or just get rid of them. It is like a nuclear arms race between Perry Central, Cordia, Hazard, and Knott Central. It is got to the point that they recruit harder than John Calipari. Recruiting in the mountains is like cockfighting, it is against the rules but it is looked at as a normal way of life in many areas of the mountains.

A really unintelligent statement by someone who lacks credibility. Someone who likes to make bets and wagers but doesn't follow through with honoring them when he loses. As I stated in the earlier post, the KHSAA needs to eliminate all transfer rules. Especially if they are only going to use "selective enforcement.

This kid told me personally after his freshman year he was looking to move to a bigger school

To be honest I'm glad that we have a school in the 14th Region that actually seems to compete on a yearly basis without recruiting lol
