Eligibility wont be a factor at all as long as he actually moves. Big transition for the kid, hope to see PC at RUPP..

mountain hoops guru Wrote:As far as I know, the rule says if the parents move and it's a bonafide change of address, which it is, because the mom now works here in hazard, how in the world can they say the kid is ineligible? parents move, the kid has to move or stay and live with someone else in Inez, not going to happen! Argument over, nothing you can say about it!:ChairHit:
It also states that the move cannot be for athletic reasons. You have refed long enough to know that if a coach takes a job in another region and within 72 hours the best player on his old team has moved to his new school and his mother has landed a new job in that same town something fishy has occured. But like I said I don't blame them and I hope he gets to play. Just gonna make this region that more interesting.

Sounds like the same song as last year. All we heard was Perry Central is so good because of Paige. News flash, Paige was better than Johnson so what makes people think Perry will be that much better now?
Ballstar, it's good to see you back but u talked Perry Central up so much last year when they lost first round of the district you had no choice but to go into hidding until Spurlock and Justin came around and now your setting yourself up again.
Paige/Combs/Huff - lost 3 starters
Johnson/Hill/James(8th grader from SC, not sure if name is james or not but everyone knows he's coming, ain't that right EKFF) - gained 3-- but a down grade.

Ive not talked this team up at all. All ive said is what they can be and thats a VERY good team. I was right last yr when I said PCC was the best team in the region. Im sure most everyone would agree. Best team doesnt always win. Nobody went into hiding, just went back to work building a program, lol. Let me know if you need any tips!!!!!!

Not sure ive said anything to set myself up from looking at my posts.
Not sure what your talking about with those 3. Its a great guess though. I like when ppl guess thinking you will tell them whats going on. Not a chance!!!! I have no clue who those 3 kids are....

All people are worried about is eligibility. I have never seen people want to keep a kid from doin good. I guess they are just afrid of him doin better than someone else.

Perry had another tranfer today to enroll hes 6'2 Taylor kid from Lexington he playes both footbll and Basketball. Hazard also getting a new player soon also. So the recruiting war continues in the 14th region.

Theirs not a banner hanging in Punkins Palace or the John C Combs Arena that has one transfer on it.
09-06-2012, 09:18 PM
My 6'7 son is transferring to PC tomorrow because I decided to open my own law practice in Hazard.
Hey, it could be true in 10 years lol

It just so happens that Johnson is the top player in all of Eastern Kentucky and he is now a Commodore. I know Hazard would of loved to of had him enroll up there. I dont have nothing against Martin County, but where would you rather live? Hazard or Inez? Thats pretty much a no brainer. Especially if you are a really good athlete. Hazard isnt paradise but its a lot closer to larger cities and they are basketball crazy there. Glad to have you JJ. And this is the highpoint in a lot of peoples lives. High School sports mean a lot.I hear they have ample opportunities for transfers in Mt. Sterling. Maybe Johnson's agent should have shopped him around lol!!!! Coaches can't play the game, players do. Johnson must be gullible to believe why he should make a parallel move.

I've always felt the same way about all this transfer stuff, let the kids go where ever they want and play, if they want to go somewhere the next year, let them go. Would save a lot of people so many headaches! It's all about the kids, let them decide where they want to play, not the adults!!

I'm glad we have plenty of people around here that are too good to stoop to the atrocious acts that us Perry County folks take part in. We are the scum of the earth and no one should let their kids play on our team or acknowledge our bullshit superintendent of the year award.
