Obama and Ramadan
#1
Obama ignores Christian celebrations but attends and speaks at a Ramadan dinner. But, then, he is a Christian, isn't he?:eyeroll:

Well, Obama did admit to his "Muslim faith," before George Stephanopolos reminded him that he was a Christian. Confusednicker:

Just shows again how the liberal press protects him.

Obama has talked about his "sons" on multiple occasions. He has (possibly) confused his grandfather, who fought in WWII, with his father who did not. He has spoken of campaigning in 57 states. These kind of gaffes are things that a person enjoying an altered state of consciousness might be expected to say, not a sober American president with the nuclear football within his grasp.

I am not convinced that Obama did not utter the words "my Muslim faith" out of habit, and he seems to observe more Islamic holidays in a more visible manner than he does Christian holidays.

Even if the Snopes conclusions are correct, it is also true that George Stephanopolos thought he was saving Obama from himself. It is not the kind of courtesy that he or any other member of the mainstream media would extend to a Republican president. The incident was as much a commentary on the liberal media as it was on Obama's alleged "faith."

I really believe that Obama just uses religion as a prop and lets his audience determine whether he is more Muslim or Christian on a given day. Much like Bill Clinton proudly displayed his Bible minutes after his Sunday morning meetings with Monica.

Obama has made multiple gaffes yet the media let's him slide, pop culture let's him slide.
Let a Republican make these gaffes, how would Chis Matthews react? A “thrill” that travels up his leg? I doubt it. If President Bush had said these things he would have been vilified

Imagine the ridicule that a young Republican candidate such as Paul Ryan would have received if he had already authored two fictitious autobiographies - or even a single bogus account of his own life.

Regardless of what tactics must be used, it is time for those who oppose the socialist Kardashian to expose him. His hidden records must be "obtainable" somehow. It needs to be done.

If there is nothing in them to damage him, so be it. However, if that were the case, they would likely have been released by his people. Therefore, it is reasonable to assume that there is something, maybe many things, that Kardashian is keeping secret.

I would still like to see his applications to college and his student financial aid forms. Is that unreasonable?

I'm not either. And as far as Snopes is concerned, they seem very willing to err on the side of Mr Obama. As I mentioned he/she has made some pretty friendly stretches in Mr Obama's favor, enroute to an ever predictably innocuous appraisal of something that may seem suspicous, he has either said or done. They have to be very careful not to appear biased, to maintain the reptutation they've earned for being non-partisan and unbiased. I mean, was it not in his own words that he and his wife have been certified as "hard pressed to find anyone more unbiased"? And though worded very carefully, the outcome always shines a favorable light on Mr Obama's actions and intentions. The truth is nobody truly indoctrinated in the ideals advocated by the doctrines of social justice, can lay claim to a love of traditional America. The concept of 'redistribution of wealth' alone precludes that possibility.

I care less what a man says about whatever faith he has...actions to me speak louder than words. I would also say I don't feel that mormanism is a branch of christanity... I just don't see it in their doctrine...so religion is a wash for me in this election

Except for the fact that we haven't had any Morman extremists trying to fly jumbo jets through the World Trade Center, or blowing up grade school kids you mean?

You are the first to claim that.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the official name of the religion commonly called the Mormon Church. We believe first and foremost that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and the Son of God.
While our backgrounds and experiences are diverse, Mormons are united by a commitment to Jesus Christ. This site features members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints sharing their stories and telling what their faith means to them.

What's there to claim it's who they are.

Mormons are what I like to call "partial-Christians". They have it partly right.

I'm not going to judge anyone's faith

One way or the other, Romney has it lights years more right than Obama does.

Are they going to heaven, in your opinion?

Im curious to see this answer as well.
What exactly is it they have partially wrong?

Im always interested in learning about different religions and what they believe in.
Mormons are some i know very little of.

I thought they were pretty strict religiously.

TheRealVille Wrote:Are they going to heaven, in your opinion?

Our "opinions" are immaterial. However, it is my personal belief that any similarity between Kardashian (past, present, and future) and biblical absolutes is purely coincidental and, in reality, nonexistent.

Now these three are not moram...but claim christianity

Timmothy McVeah.... blew up a building

WACO TX christian cult David Kirish (sp) ... many children died

King Richard "The Lion Heart"... decided to take back Jerusalum...

There are silly people in all faiths is the point.

TheRealVille Wrote:Are they going to heaven, in your opinion?

If you ask the minister of the church I use to attend, they are not. He grouped Morman religion in with other cults.

It is my understanding that their beliefs are based on missing parts of the Bible (could be wrong here) but is in no way associated with Christianity.

Now there's a catagory in which you are likely an expert. I see that the subtle sarcasm of my having matched the way you misspell "Morman" has escaped you.

Tim McVeigh claimed Christianity? huh?
Probably Eric Rudolph would have been a better choice for the example

Not surprised by this. Obama is perfectly content with the muslims but not the Christians. He will do anything to make sure that Christianity is eliminated.
