Who Do You Think?

Beverly and Justice are easily at the top of the list.
07-12-2012, 09:31 PM
Justice is a shooting guard.

My bad! Thought he ran point for Knott. Either way the kid can play.

He does run the point for Knott.
If they had another guard with any kind of a floor-game he would be at the 2, but Knott doesn't have the personnel for that unless something has changed since last season.

I can see that. He does fit the 2 spot better with his ability to score. Good player!
07-13-2012, 01:04 PM
1) Braxton Beverly
2) Josh Hollan
Cameron Justice is a 2. He does have to play some Point but that doesn't mean he's that good at it. Knott done better last season when Davis was playing Point and Justice was playing the 2.

These two are very good point guards, but Camron Justice is the best Point guard or the best 2 Guard in the 14th region. He handles the ball and passes as good or better than these two, and shoots and scores way better!

These threads crack me up!
What's next? Who's the best point forward in the 14th region who is able to finish with his left hand and over his right shoulder and can make fullcourt bounce passes in transition?

Hey Mod's lets shut this board down, we are wasting UPIKEFAN's time.

Heaven forbid that we have a thread about point guards in a particular region...
I'm glad you decided to grace us with 1 of your 25 posts in here, though.

Whatever! So, if you're 10th is that a good thing? At least there are a few worse than you?
Rank away. All it does on this board is cause animosity and badmouthing kids eventually.

Ok, "just sayin" but these kinda threads are getting old.
It feels like 14th region people do this just to see Braxton Beverly at the top of the list.
Getting very redundant, even though he is at the top of the list.

Garrett Dunn from Wolfe County is a very solid point guard for the 14th region

I'm sure that was the lone purpose of this thread...
Your logic amazes me.

Tell me this...
how many posts on here actually have 10 PGs listed?

It's an opinion and discussion board, nobody is right and nobody wrong. These boards make you think about your opinion and others opinion. For example Garrett Dunn's name has been mentioned on this thread, I don't know anything about him, so I'm gonna make an effort to see him play this year.

I wish him well.

I've seen him play. Very good ball player.
The first two are Beverly and Justice (if Justice runs the Point for Knott) I haven't seen Knott play this past year

Some people like to make a fuss about everything
I like to let them fuss first and then I jump in with my 2 cents
I watch a lot of 14th Region Basketball and there are a lot of good PGs
Maybe not a lot of college level talent or kids that will put up big numbers...
but there are a lot of PGs in the 14th that can run their teams' offense well.
It just seems like the more talented teams usually choke out the lesser teams with their defense.

IMO
1) Beverly (Perry Central)
2) Justice (Knott Central)
3) Hamilton (Breathitt County)
4) Hollan (Hazard)
5) Gregory (Letcher Central)
6) Jones (Estill County)
7) Dunn (Wolfe County)
8) Shelby/C. Hall (Owsley)
Best I remember (I've only seen them play once) but both Shelby and Hall bring the ball up for Owsley at different times. Both very good.

Pssssss..
Either way, zaga knows this was a failed attempt at some PCC homer to see Braxton up there or to start a dumb debate as to why Braxton shouldnt be #1.
Dumb.

Probably not a top 5 this season but I can see Peyton Cooper of Buckhorn improving over the next couple of seasons and becoming one of the better PGs of the region.
