I kinda like the old traditional hymns and in my opinion nobody could sing them any better than Elvis. I know I know, here come the Elvis jokes, but truthfully the man could flat out sing gospel music.

^His version of How Great Thou Art is something special. Though he lived a hard life, there had to be something divinely inspired about his voice when he sang that song.

The man had some demons and struggles. There was just something special when he sang gospel music though. Hearing him sing those gospel songs just seemed to bring Heaven down, figuratively speaking.
