Chief Justice Roberts seems to be the swing vote on the constitutionality of Obama care.
Did he just give the Republicans a big softball to push for the November Elections?
"In this case, however, it is reasonable to construe what Congress has done as increasing taxes on those who have a certain amount of income, but choose to go without health insurance," Chief Justice John Roberts wrote in the majority opinion. "Such legislation is within Congress's power to tax."
This ruling deflates the Democrats ammunition about the evil Republicans. While the Republicans now have a hot button issue to rally around.
Did Roberts just try to swing both the executive and legislative branch toward the Republicans?
