all you can say is that the zebra's helped the heat win this one
06-20-2012, 12:02 AM
Lol! You guys really think these games are being fairly officiated! Westbrook was mugged all night. Durant can't get a call. Having many of those game 2 calls.
06-20-2012, 12:04 AM
James can't win a championship by his self so he has to have the zebra's win one for him
06-20-2012, 12:16 AM
you know, I never like to get on here and blame the officiating, but the refs might as well have been wearing miami jerseys. OKC is playing 5 on 8. My dad, who has no dog in this race, only watches college ball even said the refs were calling terrible calls.

The Reffing was HORRIBLE in this game, just downright deplorable! The refs have obviously been instructed to make these games competitive, it's the only way that it can be explained that the Heat did not win by 20 tonight! D-Wade was physically molested in this game and nothing Nothing, NOTHING was called! The Heat stomped the guts out of guys like James Harden, yet every-time you turn around, the Refs were serving up freebies to the Thunder allowing them to get such a ridiculous lead in the 1st quarter! This is absolutely a disgrace how the NBA is doing everything in their power to keep the Heat from claiming their rightful place at the top of the Kingdom. But no matter how hard David Stern tries, or how much the referees are getting paid under the table to ensure that the Thunder win this series, you just cannot stop the greatest player in the world from being denied! King James should be in a cast, probably lesser men would have to have their leg amputated, but not the King! Nope, the greatest player in the world has risen from the depths of those who the him and have SLAMMED it right down their deplorable little necks! And I pray to god that KD does not have to wear his choker for the rest of his career!
Long live the King!

Can I get everyone's opinion on LBJ sitting out late in this one?
I know they won and it ultimately doesn't matter....
and I don't know how serious his "injury" was...
but I'd like to see what everyone thinks.

He was brought out for defended because he couldn't move. Excellent call to pull a defensively liability off the floor. He first came out after the injury and cramps. Then just when everyone wanted to throw in the choke card they sent him in on offends. How much did he choke on that offensives possession with the game tied at 94? Enough to drain the 3 that put the that put the Heat ahead for the rest of the game. What did the Heat do after that 3? They took the ailing defender which happens to be their best defender; off the floor like the previous possession. Smart coaflching.
0-30!
0-30!

I have defended him as of late...
But I have a hard time believing that The King would ride the pine while his teammates scrap out a win

^ LOL, sure. If you can't move, and you cannot defend, stay on the court and just let your man score on you??? He couldn't even drive in the possession that he hit the game winner because of they leg, so let's be real and not make this something that it clearly is not..... It's not the flu that he could just tough it out, he literally could not move!

Team Fouls
Thunder - 20
Heat - 18
(last two fouls on OKC were end of the game fouls, so really 18-18)
If OKC wants more fouls, man up and go to the rim. OKC is a jump shooting team, Heat are a rim attacking team. So its going to look like Miami is more calls but really they aren't.
Just a stupid reason for people to try to discredit Lebron's first ring.
FYI: Every time KD can't get open he reaches his long arms around the defender and holds them off... THATS A FOUL!!! does it every time.

I'm not really a LBJ fan, but the man was having severe high leg cramps & would have been more of a liability on the floor at that time. I still feel he led his team to victory.

Name one player in the NBA that does not do the same thing. I have definitely seen LBJ do the same in this series along with others. Its simply just not called as much in the NBA as it is on the College & High School level. Players get a way with a lot more in the NBA.
06-20-2012, 10:32 AM
Another thing... I'm sick of people saying KD is only 23 years old and in the NBA Finals...
Lebron led CLEVELAND to the finals at the age of 22... And I bet he wishes he had Westbrook and Hardin...

Seriously, I never played a HIGH level, but when I did play, you cannot play with lingering cramps. It is not possible. It is not like a sprained ankle. You cannot move. You cannot get a push out of your legs. It is a sharp pain and your muscles lock up and there is nothing you can do about it.
This is as far as the LeBron haters have ever reached.

It was cramps and the knee contusion on the fall he took. The knee was enough to hobble him, but it was the cramps on top of it that kept him from being able to play defense.
Bottom -line, the Heat needed him to hit the dagger that would submit the Thunder, and he did.

Big 3 from Lebron late in the game.
Farthest thing from a choke ive seen.
However, i really dont want to see people make another Kobe. Everyone hates Kobe for valid reasons on and off the court, Lebron does not fit into the same category.

Very happy to hear that Lebron said his pain in his leg was only from cramps.

I remember one day after a soccer match. I was taking my son home and had to pull off the road and pull him out of the vehicle. I thought I was going to have to call 911. His leg cramps were so severe it actually scared me. When you have nothing left in your tank. Your body lets you know it REAL quick!

You are starting to sound more and more like Wildcat everyday.
Let me tell you what happened.
OKC choked!
James Harden was the biggest let down in the game and that's about it.
This was actually one of Westbrook's better games. Very rare to see.

Wildcat has proof.....
Even dieheard Heat fans on other boards are saying the same thing
Let me ask you this, your suppose to be a Magic, Dwight Howard fan, I never knew you was a LBJ fan even while he was at cleveland so what made you like them all of a sudden?

I will say tho he hasn't choked in these playoffs like he has before

Ballers has always been an LBJ fan. SK, are you in this little bubble that you believe that you can only root for your team and the players on your team? The Reds are my favorite team, but I love the Yankees and A-Rod is my favorite player in all of baseball! Yes, Votto is my favorite Red and I want the Reds to win each and every game (even against the Yankess), but I have others that I adamantly cheer for! I've seen you post things like this in the past as well, thus I just don't get it!
I love UK basketball more than even my alma-mater UC! My desire for the Cats to win titles is above all else that I cheer for. But, that does not mean that I have to like every player, coach, or fan for UK just because I am a UK fan. No different than me cheering for a player like Florida's Beal when he plays. I don't HAVE to hate everything about my rival! Just like I can cheer my team and players on other teams!
