bases were loaded. girl hit a ball under the fence which should of been a ground rule double. instead they let her go to third. when she should of went to second, and the other girl should of stopped at third. instead, the girl went home. enduring the game, 7-6.

Strike the umps this year have been pretty bad as a whole. Not saying all but there are some bad ones. Most of them don't even know the rules of the game. They don't know the difference between leeping and crow hopping. Some just point blank don't know the rules. (seems worse the further east you go) Again IMO and from what I have seen.

If you would learn the rules you would know that had the girl called time instead of trying to still play the ball after it went under the fence then it should of been a double but once she touches the ball it still makes it a live ball. Everyone can say Powell cheated but that hit was a good shot and Lee County women calling our girls cheaters as they walked to the bus was a little immature!!! It was the umps that made the call not the players!!

I do know the rules. I wasn't there so I am going on what has been said about the play. How did she touch the ball if it goess under the fence? Did she jump over the fence and get the ball? Another question is did she hit the ball to make it go under meaning did she reach down and as she reach down hitting the ball to make it go under? I never said Powell cheated just said the umps this year have not been very good. Also you are right no one should say Powell cheated because they don't call the game. The players play so no one should say they cheated. I heard there were some calls at the championship game that were kind of funny. One where they called a girl out at third than safe than out than safe again..(again going on what I was told) To me there are alot of young umps this year being there first or second year. Just seems ones I have never seen before in the past years. But no one should say a player cheats they take advantage of situations and that's what they should do.

Dang Outside, you do know everything about softball! You are the greatest. Why don't you coach college. I will tell you why you don't know half of what you think you know. I bet you nd Mr. Edwards hang out at games alot, and talk about how much you know about the game. Thanks for being a softball wizard.

KyCat lol lol your funny... So what do you not agree with me on? Didn't think I said anything that was offensive to anyone. Unless your one those umps.... and I don't know who Mr. Edwards is.. sorry... I guess someone you know. I was just commenting on the umps and things I've seen around the state. I have coached and worked with many high school and college players so I have been around fastpitch a long time. Kycat if I offeneded you didn't mean to, they were talking about a play and I commented. Kycat I thought you were my buddy from previous post you have posted.

I got no dog in this fight but do you not remember what Powell done to Estill's JV Buses, Fans/Parents Vehicles, Lewis County Varsity Buses and what Powell done to Estill's Caboose? If Lee County people calling Powell County Cheaters is immature then what do you call Powell County when they do something like what was listed above?

That was all kids doing that. This was grown women in their 60s or 70s calling our girls cheaters as they walked to the bus. Kids bein kids is fine but when grown adults act like that then that is immature.

how do you know it was all kids? So your saying it was alright for them to paint the buses, pee in the seats, key people's cars?

We are getting a little of course here. If the girl reached under the fence and pulled the ball out before throwing her hands up, then it is a live ball. It is the fault of the coaches not anyone else, They should have let her know the rules.
Grown people verbally attacking kids is un called for PERIOD. THe things you speak about Powell County doing to Estill....Do you think that Powell is the only ones that does this kind of things? Maybe Estill is just better at hidding it. THose kind of things happens all over the state between rival schools. It just happens. Not saying I am ok with it and my I would not stand for my students doing anything like this.

I know Estill isn't a saint. Powell has some nice players, but there fans get a little too carried away. I mean have you ever heard Estill painting on other team's buses, peeing in there seats, keying cars? Estill isn't the only team that Powell has done that too. People say that it's kids, well most of them have graduated high school so shouldn't that make them adults?
