Seventh-grade second baseman Ryley Grau doubled in a run in the seventh inning as Boone County beat Notre Dame, 5-2 on Wednesday.
Grauâs hit gave the Rebels a 3-0 lead and keyed a three-run frame that put the game out of reach.
Boone County junior center fielder Erika Stein scored a pair of runs â one in the fourth inning and another in the sixth.
Notre Dame sophomore Laura Finke broke the school record for career stolen bases. Finke stole her 60th base to pass 200 graduate Megan McEvoy, and Finke added another steal later in the game.
