congrats belfry way to hang in there knights
#3
Congrats Belfry
#4
I thought Belfry would win by a lot more than this.. anyways Congrats Pirates!
#5
Without Maynard and Case, solid win
#6
A 21 point win without the two biggest Belfry stars playing...imagine what it would have been if they have played.
#7
The other plays still should have picked it up more, they made alot of mistakes. Still, good finish.
#8
no way this is the right score! Maybe Coach Casey played a lot of his youner kids. If so great show of class
#9
I know Case an Maynard didnt play, I was told none of the starter were going to play.
#10
Kudos to Belfry for not running the score up. Other teams have, and I lost respect for them as result.
#11
Why didn't the starters play? If they didn't dress because of who they were playing I think that is disrespectful
#12
were was maynard and case?

Out sick.
#14
Even if they werent sick, I would have not played all my starters either. In a game like this, there would have been no need to risk injury. No disrespect to Piarist.
#15
hmm well lol closest game they have had all year lol...
#16
Why would you risk your starter being hurt in a non important game? They are alot of times coaches see a chance to give their best players a break an it is smart to take it...
#17
Anyone who has watched Belfry play should know that they could have won by any margin they wanted to win by. My hat goes off to the Belfry coaching staff for there class in this game. I just wish Belfry played Valley this year to show them how it feels to get thumped, (Booher may have forgotten how it felt after his state tourney loss last year).
#18
I would have loved for Belfry to get ahold of Valley, but Belfry was in 5 pre-season tournaments and Randy also added a Home/Home schedule with Lawrence County and a game with Johnson Central and Allen Central. There was no room for Valley. But, there's a good chance we'll play them in the Region again this year, and boy will revenge for last year be so sweet....

Don't you mean revenge for the last 6 seasons or so?

Alfus dont start fights please...

Yes I give Valley credit, they have a had a good ball club the past few years, But none of that is thanks to Booher, when he left Belfry for Valley, all the talent was already their, all Booher had to do was show up...
#23
For the team, I don't think it's about getting revenge against Valley, it is getting revenge against Booher.
#24
See, this is what I hate. If Piarist or David don't get completely blown out like they usually do then people are like "Wow, What has happened to Belfry?" and when they do blow them completely out people say "Shame on you Belfry!". Maybe they should just forfeit to them to keep everyone happy.
#25
I have a serious question...People are all over Shelby Valley for having David on their schedule which is something they 100% have no control over...Neither does East Ridge or Pikeville, and I'm pretty sure Belfry fans have jumped all over that...But why in God's name schedule Piarist when they're not even in your district or class and there is absolutely no point in playing them? Especially twice!? Shelby Valley, East Ridge, and Pikeville can't help but play David School, but Belfry scheduling Piarist for no reason at all is completely acceptable....Makes sense...

Probably the first time I have ever agreed with you, but Belfry doesn't have any business playing Piarist.

As there anything to this that we don't know about?

I would imagine a relationship between the coaches....Other than that I would have no clue...

Who is the coach at Piarist?
#29
Last season the coach was listed as Andrea Preston, but I don't know about this season...May still be the same...
#30
Nevermind everything I said..I had no clue at all that Piarist jumped over to the 60th district....
