I just thought we should all say a prayer for these two teams in the 15th region finals... Magoffin and Paintsvile...
I know they all have been hit hard by these tornados... I love sports but when something like this happens it really puts things in order of importance...may God bless them both and their communities.

^ Agreed... hard to imagine being expected to go out and play a basketball game when friends/family/neighbors are going through total devastation. I think a lot of folks don't realize just how bad it is in parts of Johnson, Magoffin and Lawrence counties.

Yes, there are WAY MORE important things in life than a game. Granted, it is a good things for kids to do, and dreams to reach for, but some of the people on this site, and at the games(probably the same people) get too bent out of shape over things. After all this tragedy that has taken place, I hope we can put it all in perspective and see the bigger picture in life, of life. Wins and losses does not make the world go round, nor do they dictate how life is lived.

Remember the people who have lost much, not only the past week, but in years past. Bless them all, and those of us who can do something to help them.
