I hope its Buckhorn and Breathitt in the finals. I do hope Buckhorn makes a strong showing but I want one of these two teams to go to state. I am leaning for Breathitt cause of their coach. Denny is about to win his first district title since he was at M.C. Napier. But again congrats to a great man and a great coach in John Noble. Glad Matt Day get to play in the regional tourney for his senior year

listened to the game on the radio, he played well in the first half but was a no show in the second half. Beverly was a no show in the first half but played well in 2nd.

Wow...I kind of feel bad for Zaga, lol. I'm a Perry fan as well, but have no real connections like he and the other Perry fans do.

And is this the first round?!!?! Does Perry now not make it to Region1?!?!

2007....Buckhorn beat Perry by by like 25 or 30.....Al Holland last year as coach at Perry.

Congrats to Buckhorn on a big win tonight. They did, indeed, shock the world.
Buckhorn outplayed Perry. Gay's defense on Jaysean was outstanding. Jaysean couldn't breathe whenever he was in there. Dalton played like he did at Rupp last year: Terrible. IMO, he lost the game for us tonight. If Perry wants to be at the top of the region again next year, Dalton will have to get his nerves under control.

This game PROVES that the district needs to seed. When the two best teams in the region (Yes, BHorn and Perry, the way they was playing going into the game, were the best in the region) draw each other in the first round, it's an outrage. I mean no disrespect to any other team when I say this but, IMO, the region championship was tonight.

Funny how you say Buckhorn played a perfect game! I guess your saying they had to play the perfect game to beat the almighty Perry Central.. From what I was listening to on the radio, Horn played decent but not great, Matt Day barely hit double figures so I would not say that was their perfect game..The game against Knott when Day had 47 was as good as Horn plays and Knott beat them! Round 3 will be something to watch! Go Patriots...
