Prestonsburg 74 Sheldon Clark 64
#1
I'm not exactly sure of the score, but it was close to that.
#2
Ya the score's correct.
#3
Any stats?
#4
What happened to Sheldon Clark. I figured they would be one of the top teams in the region this year?
#5
nice win for p burg a little momentum goin into the sf game!

SC is a 20 pt better team than Pburg. May had 3 fouls w/ 3 min to go in the 1st qtr and had to sit out the rest of the half. SC was up 11 in the 3rd when he picked up his 4th and had to sit pburg battled back to take the lead and SC never got back over the hump. If May doesn't get in foul trouble SC wins easily.
#7
Sheldon Clark had 3 more fouls in the game than Prestonsburg and that's with SC fouling in the final seconds.

Congrats Blackcats

If, ands, and butts, I saw the game.......I was not rooting for either team. These teams match up well. I will say this, there is no way SC is a 20 point better team than Pburg. The Blackcats also had to give up some quality players. Starter Nick Mcquire came out 2nd half with sprained ankle, he had just scored 6 points in a row. 6'6" Junior Trevor Patton, could not play at all due to injury, Mason Vance quality reserve, injured no playing time. Guard Slone, injured no playing time. Jackie Day Crisp went deep into Sophmore territory to stay in this game. Bobby Hughes and Jordon Hall came up big off the bench-JV Players. If you look at Pburg's bench they look like a MASH unit with numerous injuries. Lets give them credit, they played tough and give it to SC. SC is well coached, I like thier team, they work hard and hustle. I real nice clean game. Just my opinion..........

Congrats Blackcats...keep it up guys
#13
Pbrug wil be a contender, they always peek at the right time...great W
#14
Congrats Prestonsburg !

May basically played the whole 4th quarter and had no impact on the game whatsoever. May having foul troubles did hurt SC, but I don't really think that determined the outcome. IMO, the best player on SC's team is that Juan Wobbli (sp?). He had 29 last night. Kid is very quick and doesnt care to take it to the hole. Lewis played another great game for the cats as did Sean Leslie. Good job cats. Lets keep it going.

Good win blackcats.

Pburg is better than their record suggests...better not take them lightly.
Good win Blackcats!

congrats to the blackcats they wanted it more

I'd say Barnette had close to 25 and Leslie had 20 also for the Blackcats, after seeing this game i have to ask what has happened to Brandon May? It just looked like he had no desire. As for the bogus comment about SC being a 20 pt. better team than P-burg, there's no way, May did get his 3rd foul in the first, but Barnette, P-burg's top scorer, picked up his second early in the first and had to sit. May started the game out strong but then started hoisting up air balls and bricks everywhere. Anywhere this game is played, P-burg wins. Oh, yeah, I have to agree with BCF4L, the Juan kid is a heck of an athlete, very quick.

Congrats Blackcats...Pburg is getting better and will make some noise come tournament time.

He's alright, he can put pressure and walk on it, I'd say there is still pain whenever he runs though. I'd say he'll have to wear an ankle brace, and should have been all along, because the tape just isn't getting it done.

Pburg played a great game, enough said.
