i could not believe what was called on the last few seconds. The pretty boy Napier thats attempts to ref lost his mind. Lee scored with 3.2 seconds left and Wolfe grabbed the ball and was throwing it in when another ref blew the whistle and said wolfe called timeout. i do believe they got the timeout called as stated by ref, then pretty boy put the time back to three seconds and i can understand that but then he ruled that Wolfe would get the ball at mid court. you cant have both, all the time back that was on the clock when wolfe was trying to inbound or the ball at midcourt. Wolfe made five to six dribbles and then shoot the ball in, (horrible defense by Lee) good play by Wolfe. i just dont understand how the other refs stood by and let this pitiful ref make such a bad decision. The fracas afterwards was a direct result of this hosing by Napier. He should be X out next year and rated very poorly, he spends to much time flirting with everyone to focus on the game and i have watched him since he started but he never improved. Find a new hobby.

I agree with you 100 percent this was an absolute joke how can you give the ball to Wolfe at almost mid court with the time back on the clock the only thing I can think of is he thought it was NBA rules,Horrible!!!!!!

He worked the all a classic state tournament and worked the all a classic championship game which is chosen by the KHSAA bests. Also he's called the 2010 class 4A state finals football game. Brian Napier will give Wolfe County the benifit of the doubt every time he calls one of their games. If the other 2 refs don't try to offset his biased calls then your team is in trouble. I was told that he used to teach there, or did his student teaching...something like that. He's friends with the coaching staff and others at the school.

He called our 2010 January first round All A (and our team later won the 56th district tournament) and hosed us pretty good. He personally fouled out 4 of our starting 5 on phantom calls, and block-charges, picky stuff, that nearly always went against us. And not to mention the no-calls for Wolfe, like over the back and reaching and slapping in the press defense.

That game turned me against him as a referee on the spot. It's one thing if a referee has a bad game, because just like players they sometimes do, but if I get the feeling that one has an agenda of wanting the game to turn out a certain way, then it sours me on them. He may not have had an agenda that night, but it sure appeared that way to me.

I know he will not call for next year as i have been told he will definatly be X ed for the year, he is rated in the bottom third of the rankings, Lets be honest Wolfe won because they made the play when it counted and Lee did not stop it. But an assist must go to Napier (the only way he could score) i am convinced he knew better on the placement of the ball but intentially moved to mid-court to help Wolfe. I am very careful of ever accusing a ref of intentional wrongdoing, but in this case I am convinced he tried to play a role in the game. Good riddance Mr. Napier. I would take Don Hall anyday over Napier.

you none know what your talking about i play for wolfe and the ball was set to be thrown in at 3/4 court but the in bounder a senior specifically said that while the ref wasnt looking creeped up the sideling a bit to get a edge so smart move on his part not the refs fault

Mr. Wump, I never said I would x anyone out but i have been told directly he will be x ed out by the one that x's. If you would like to wager we will find out next season. Since you know who I am and i know who you are we can make a friendly wager. And if the Wolfe player is correct then it shows how bad that ref is since the player led him up the sideline, but Napier went to midcourty and pointed that was where the ball was to be inbounded. Also, you know i dont complain about officials often due to relationships with some officials in our region and I know you know what i am talking about.

It was as obvious as anything I have ever seen, the ball clearly should have been spotted on the baseline, so it was either incompetence or he purposely gave them an advantage and yes he should be xed he walks like a girl and is a terrible ref.

in the 2nd half he called powell for a travel (literally montioned for the travel) then he changes his mind and calls Estill for a foul. Then An Estill player and Powell player we're tied up and the powell player rips the ball from the Estill player and as she does it she throws an elbow and nothing was called. I thought elbows was Technical Fouls?

I'm not taking nothing away from the Lady Pirates they played a good game and in the end they wanted it more
