Pikeville defeated Owensboro Catholic 58-43 in the Elite 8

Taylor County (play in game) by 12
Mason County (play in game) by 14
Barbourville (we was a #1 seed in the tournament... first round) by 21
Tates Creek (second round) by 5 in overtime (one of KBA's main officials was Tates Creek's coach)
We lost to Garrard County in the Sweet 16 by 4 in overtime. They had two of the best shooters I've ever seen, was 7 of 7 in the first half from the three and all of them stripped the net. We fought back from being down 10 and took it into over time but we were just dead from the physical style of play they all. Andrew Tackett's elbow was swelled to the size of my fist, Kory Stevens ankle was hurting til he was in tears, Dalton Meade was cramping really bad and JT Hall was still not 100% from his foot injury but these were things every team there had to deal with. Garrard County was a really good team, had we both been fresh it would've been a really fun game to watch. I was very proud of our boys though, they played through a lot of pain and adversity like champions!
