■ Ole Miss shot 46.4 percent in the first half; UK 44.4. Ole Miss was 3-for-3 on three-pointers. That doesn't happen often against this defense.
■ In the first half, Miller and Kyle Wiljter came off the bench to lead UK in scoring with 10 points each.
■ UK has won 50 straight home games. Miller has played in every one of those.
■ Michael Kidd-Gilchrist has gone 1-for-4 in back-to-back games. He had four points and seven rebounds in both games. Don't worry, UK fans.
Thumbs up
■ When UK fell behind, senior Miller went to work. He started things with a ridiculous dunk.
■ Terrence Jones (15 points, 10 rebounds) had his first double-double of the year.
■ Marquis Teague (eight assists) has 26 in the last three games.
Thumbs down
■ After Anthony Davis sat with two fouls, Ole Miss outscored UK 17-7.

Rupp had some ridiculous number of victories. 12+ seasons worth.

Game Ball - Terrence Jones: He had a double double, and even tho he had some moments in the first half where he played like a eight grader rather than a NBA-bound stud, he discovered his manhood and finished strong. 7 for 11 shooting, 15 points & 11 rebounds.
----
Good Thoughts:
- Darius Miller deserved some serious consideration for the game ball, but I thought Jones was just a tiny bit better. The dunk on Reginald Buckner was a major Sportcenter highlight. 14 points including 3 for 7 for distance, a rebound, a block & a couple steals.
- Kyle Wiltjer also deserved some gameball consideration. All he did was shoot lights out 3 for 4 from 3 and 5 for 6 overall, for 13 points, a rebound, and an assist.
- Marquis Teague continues his excellent point guard play. 8 assists, just 3 turnovers and 5 points. Good game.
- Michael Kidd-Gilchrist did a lot of good things, but he is still having trouble scoring. He's doing everything else, though, and his intangibles are off the charts. He had 7 rebounds, 4 points, 2 assists and 2 steals.
- Doron Lamb continues to do what he does best.....score. Today, he scored 16 points, made 4-6 threes, and all his free throws.
- Anthony Davis had a relatively quiet game with only 10 points, 4 blocks and 6 rebounds, but he was limited quite a bit by fouls.
----
Not So Good Thoughts:
- Free throw shooting. 11-17 is not good, pure and simple.
- Basketball IQ. We have to realize that we cannot have Davis picking up his second foul trying to draw a charge on a 3-on-1 fast break in the first half. Forget that crap, we need him in the game. Just give up the basket and move on.
- A touch of immaturity. We clearly lost focus when Davis went out, and even a little bit before. There is no excuse for that from this team, they are no longer freshmen, they are sophomores and juniors. We should expect better.

Rupp's Kentucky Wildcats with 129 consecutive home wins from 1943 to 1955. Man I bet that first home loss in that streak was devastating. Too young to have made it to a regular season game there myself, but I've heard/read Memorial was the toughest venue to play at in the history of college basketball. With a streak like that who could disagree?

They thought UCONN's women might beat it because they were at 99 home wins, but just got beat at home last night.

Loved Miller's dunk!

Didn't get to watch the game. But figured it be a pretty ugly game as far as competition wise.
