Magoffin Co. 64 - Pikeville 52
#1
Final from Pikeville. Congrats Boys.
#2
Congrats MC. What kind of game did Pitts have?

Should be an interesting Regional Tournament this year.
#3
Not a good shooting Night for Pikeville.

Pitts had a great game for MC. He is a fun player to watch, very smooth.

Pikeville will be fine once Rowe returns. Very impressed with the play of May and Silvers tonight. The older guards better step it up, because these guys can play and they go hard 100%of the time.

Congratulations MC, good luck against Johnson Central. Wouldn't be surprised to see the hornets again.

Let's just wrap this up healthy and prepared for the Expo.

Go Panthers!

PT can you get any stats?

I've watched Pikeville play a lot this year....and I honestly think They play better in Away games!.....Congrats Panthers!...goodluck in district.

Magoffin County played a great game last night. Pitts is very solid in all aspects of the game. #14 may be one of the quickest guards in the region and he is an excellent ball handler and shooter.

A little surprised by this one. What's wrong with Rowe?

“Relax, all right? Don’t try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they’re fascist. Throw some ground balls – it’s more democratic.”

Not much to be surprised about lol

PHS won at MC with Rowe out for a half, where he first injured his shoulder. He sat a number of games following that and teturned for the PIT Championship and All A.

PHS won in All A on a last second play with Rowe.

And without Rowe they lose to a pretty even team.

Rowe still is having issues with his shoulder and has been advised to rest it until the games matter. He is the catalyst for PHS, he must be able to play to his healthiest in the postseason.

Pikeville shot 34% for the ballgame while Magoffin shot 52% from 2 pt range. Pitts played huge and Pikeville settled for a lot of three attempts. Also, Magoffin made 18 of 22 from the free throw stripe.

I hope Rowe heals, He's a great asset to his team.

I would sit him until the district championship next week!

What night is the play-in game with Valley and East Ridge? At Valley correct?
#12
Yes, at Valley......Not sure which night though.
#13
Tues. Night
#14
Thanks!! Can't believe its district tournament time already. Time flies...
#15
Magoffin is my sleeper team in that region after this win.

^ Mine too, if they beat Johnson Central in the district tournament (Both games they played against them have been buzzer beaters lol). And not just because I'm a fan. They can compete with anyone in the region if they come ready to play.
