One fellow recently posted that the 15 region is the weakest in the state. According to today's paper he was at least close. Not one eastern Kentucky team is ranked in the state. Not One. Not even the Tigers or Belfry. Take a look.

There just isn't the tallent in EKY. You have smaller schools here where the top athletes play more tha one sports and can't focus on only basketball.

why would paintsville be in there?. They wont be able to beat hardly any of them teams in there, and my opinion i honeslty thing paintsville is overrated. They have the talent but it seems like every game they play they dont look like a team that shud be ranked in the top 25 in state.

who expected a team from this region to be in there?

Paintsville is not even the best team in the region IMO
BTW...the poll listed is the Cantrell and is horrible...had Fleming Neon and Whitesburg ranked last week.

It's tough for smaller schools to be ranked up there with the 3A and 4A schools.

Cantrell is horrible but no 15th region team should be ranked in the state.

I think later in the season belfry may slide in the rankings if they pick it up a bit.

I support you 100% on the Cantrell comment. No one from Eastern KY will get any respect from him.
