Four teens have been charged with beating a 76-year-old man, after the man reportedly tried to stop the teens from ripping down Christmas decorations.

James Junior Barnes was working at the Newtown Pike Holiday Inn on December 21st, when he reportedly saw the teens trying to rip down the decorations. Police say when Barnes confronted the teens, the teens beat him.

Today -- police announce they've charged four teens in connection with the beating: a 17 year old, a 16 year old, and two 15 year olds. Police say they've arrested all but one of the 15 year olds.

Barnes was back in the hospital today, undergoing more surgery to correct his beaten face. It's one of many surgeries Barnes' family says he'll have to have.

I think these boys need to be charged with attempted murder.. they left him to die after beating him...

Glad they caught them and yea, attempted murder should be the charge for all of them. I do agree. This was senseless and inhumane. Heartbreaking story really.

I watched this on the news..The mans son was very upset, which I would be to. I hope they do get charged with attempted murder.
