14th Region All "A" Predictions?
#1
Who will go to Richmond out of the 14th?

IMO it is a two horse race (Hazard or Buckhorn)

I'll take Buckhorn, that senior leadership with lead them to victory and a trip to Richmond.

I'll take Buckhorn.

And MVP, the All ''A'' State has been moved to Frankfort.
If you need any assistance or want to report a problem feel free to PM me and we will get it taken care of!  Thank you for choosing to be apart of the BGR community!

It's a toss up between Buckhorn and Hazard. I hope it's Buckhorn because I like the way Matt Day plays, and beings a senior it would be great for him to get the additional publicity.

Where at in Frankfort?

It will be Buckhorn or Hazard. If Hazard is on, I wouldn't count them out. If Day gets any help from his team, they will be a definite.

Can someone tell me the meaning of these "All A" tourneys, and who gets to participate in them?

IMO, Buckhorn wins it hands down!!

LOSERS QUIT WHEN THEY'RE TIRED, WINNERS QUIT WHEN THEY HAVE WON

Vundy, it's for small schools that really don't have a chance in winning the main region tournament or even district year in and year out. This is like their state title. And to qualify for All "A", I believe you have to one of the smallest 120 schools in Kentucky. I'm not sure if that's the execr process but something like that.

And I'm sorry but that kid from Laurel could quit right now and Hazard wouldn't miss him a bit. I knew there was a reason that SL just signed off on him.

Oh yeah and who on Hazard roster ever PLAYED for Knott Central.... Thompson never went to another High School. Came to Hazard out of Middle School.

Yeah he could quit right now EKFF and people would score on Hazard at will inside. I thought he at least put up a fight against Davis inside. Kind of reminds me of the old EKFF a little bit. You were a little bit better but not leaps and bounds.

I could score a lot better then him... He's 6'6 and I'm 6'3...... Evan Whitaker is the reason people won't push Hazard around in the paint...

Thanks ekff

EKFF, I'd rather have a guy 6'1 - 150 guarding me down low instead of a 6'7 - 300 pound monster, no matter if the monster could play or not. Im sure you would feel the same way.
#23
Gonna say Buck this year, Wouldn't shock me if big Al worked some magic though.

Oh for sure... The kid is for sure VERY big... But since Hazard have pretty much put all their stock into this young group, I think Mack Hall (Soph) should play over Brashear. He is big but plays kind of soft on O.

I'd rather see the HOMEGROWN guys play to EKFF. Macks a nice player.

the 6'7 300 pound monster your referring too is a powder puff he flops and pretty much a prim donna hes a whiner and if he dont get calls he pouts about it!....nuff said hope wolfe wins
#27
if hazard plays like they did against knott theres no doubt they will win,if they dont buckhorn wins
#28
Jackson City def. Owsley by 11. 61-50

The bracket is set up better for Hazard. Buckhorn will have to win 4 tough games to win the All A. They took care of the first tonight beating Leslie. They play Cordia tomorrow night and if they win that they'll probably face Wolfe in the Semi-Finals and Hazard in the Finals if they get by Wolfe.

did Buckhorn beat Leslie?
